I didn't use the Cafe (One swift look at it put paid to that idea) and the shop is a bit naff although slowly getting better stock, and of course stocks some of the most delicious honey I've ever had (I actually also like the Ivy honey, although many people find Ivy honey too dark/grainy) BUT they are doing something good, they are keeping bees, and educating people about bees, albeit with a very dated video.
I could watch bees for ages, in fact we did watch bees attacking 3 wasps that had got caught in the little 'segment' they lift out for the day for people to peer in at for about 10 minutes, but they DO need to clean the glass more regularly, although I see they're updating their information slowly too.
I have actually been here 3 times, (and seen the video 3 times, it's amazing in an 80's sort of way) but always on my way somewhere, not as a day out, and I would gladly give a few quid to keep the bees homed and pollinating!
