This place was one of 3 recommended to us by Steve @ Wadebridge B&B and we came across it as we were wandering around the town so decided to try it and are so glad we did! Early dinner on a Wednesday night, very warm welcome. We chose a table was next to the open log fire - lovely cosy surroundings.
Pleasant friendly staff who made a real effort to engage us, offering advice on local sightseeing, even taking the time to phone a local taxi firm to give us rough idea of costs for another trip we were planning.
Food was very good - whitebait and pate starters, fish and chips and chicken with spring onion mash - but the menu had a good variety. we were too full for desert!
would definitely recommend Ship Inn
