Welcoming cottage close to Padstow in a quiet hamlet.
Good sized bedrooms, kitchen/lounge and outdoor space; deck and garden.
The hosts Damien & Sarah couldn't be more welcoming when they greated us on arrival.

“Lovely cottage, idyllic garden and location”

We stayed with our 3 children. Location is great for some of the best beaches in Cornwall (Trevone, Harlyn, Constantine all accessible within 10-15 mins drive), and the cottage is set in a peaceful hamlet well away from main roads. The garden is a real plus - enough space for children to play, but also has a nice patio area with table and chairs to dine out at lunch/dinner. Stream at bottom of the garden also a plus for older children.
Inside, the cottage is clean and well equipped, but still retains the charm of an authentic Cornish cottage. Good sized dining table and ample seating, kitchen is v well equipped and cleverly designed, bedrooms bright and comfortable, and bathroom has plenty of room to clean children after a day at beach - there's also an outside (hot!) shower which is great for this too.
Owners have great knowledge of surrounding area (footpaths, pubs, places to eat and visit etc).

A charming cottage perfectly located to explore some of the most stunning beaches in the area. The owners were very helpful and provided useful information on the cottage and the area. The cream tea and wine left on the table with a bunch of fresh flowers was a lovely welcome touch also. We thoroughly enjoyed our week here, thank you!!

“Charming cottage, tastefully refurbished, well-equipped, with lovely garden”
Reviewed 3 September 2016 for a stay in August 2016

Stayed at the cottage with our two sons, aged 14 and 11. Liked the open-plan downstairs kitchen/dining/living room which gave it a spacious modern feel. It has been newly refurbished and they've kept the character, but it has all the facilities you'd expect - comfy sofas, big dining table, very well-quipped kitchen and big modern bathroom with bath and shower.
We particularly liked the garden, which has space for children to play, with a stream at the bottom, and patio with table and chairs to eat outside. Outside shower was handy when we got back from the beach for washing off wetsuits etc.
It's in a pretty, quiet hamlet - took us about 10-15 mins to drive to the beaches nearby which are stunning - we went to Harlyn, Trevone and Constantine. Owners were helpful with recommendations for places to eat and visit nearby - lots of choice in Padstow.
