An impromptu lunch gathering brought us here. The daily menu was really good and covered a wide range of choices. Our party opted for Fish & Chips and Goan curry.
We all finished our plates which was a good sign as the portion size was good. We also had various cakes afterwards. The service was prompt and everything was cleared away quickly. Very nice staff.
My one very small comment would be that I’m not sure that the basket the curry is served in is the best idea as great as it looks as obviously most it becomes soggy and inedible in my opinion although I’m sure others are perfectly happy with it. I would prefer it served separately and keep the ‘bread basket’ crisp. I also can’t say there was a fragrant rice more of a plain rice?
On a previous visit We had Pulled pork open sandwich and Hake goujons which also was very good.
