We have just spent the Easter weekend at this fabulous accommodation to celebrate my wife's 60th birthday with children and grandchildren. What an amazing place this is. Excellent bedrooms 5 of which has on-suite. ( no waiting for the toilet) Brilliant dining room and a great kitchen. The bar and games room is great fun and the lounge is very cosy. The decor is very tasteful and the location is spot on with beaches only 5 minutes away. This was are first stay in a rented property and it would take a lot to better it.
We are hoping to get a group of friends together to return next year.

Room Tip: They are all very good 3 doubles and 2 twins

Went to the cottage with a group of couples. Something I liked was that we were left to it at the cottage but if ever we needed help the owners were nearby. The cottage is large and has different areas to socialise depending on the mood, lovely dining room, comfy lounge and your own bar area with games, this would be great for families where the kids want to be away from the adults. Kitchen was well equipped and you could cook any meal without bringing extra cooking equipment. Most rooms had en suite which is a bonus in the mornings, I think some of the bathrooms could do with a refurb if aiming at the luxury end of the market, this could be said about a lot of the cottage as the only thing it lacks is the luxury finish/extra touches. However if you go here as a group you will have a great time and I would go back.

10 of us aged 14 months to 75 years spent the week here for Christmas. Loads of room and tastefully decorated. The professional kitchen was a bonus and made the main Christmas lunch a doddle.
Close to friendly shops and lovely dog walks.
Definitely recommended.

If you want a peaceful large house with AMAZING sun sets and the seagulls being the only noise then you are about to book the right place.
This large house really is a home away from home. It boasts stunning views and a rustic farm atmosphere. The location is perfect and only a 10 minute drive from Padstow.
This house is huge!!! We went as a family of 7 people so needed the space just in case we wanted some 'chill out time'.
Yes it does take dogs and there is a back garden to release them when they get annoying.
The pub worth going to for dinner is The Cornsnish arms in ST Merryn. Great food and service unlike The Harbour Inn which is in Padstow. Stay away from there! (read my other review to hear why)

The best beaches for surfing are Constantine bay and Harlyn Bay (which is a bit calmer).
If you want other things to do try the bike ride in Padstow. There are two places to hire bikes, go to the second one, on the way to the start of the camel trail track as it's cheaper and your more likely to get bikes. You will see leaflets all over Padstow.
Also try horse riding at Tina's stables, I have never ridden but me and my fiance had a brilliant time.

All in all if you want a peaceful, large, cosy house then book away.
Oh and there is a football table, Bar and dart board. :)

Stayed here for a week in August with extended family, and we all absolutely loved the house and surroundings. The house is huge, nicely decorated and has everything you could possibly need. We enjoyed the huge dining room and professional kitchen, and the games room was a bonus too!

The surrounding countryside is beautiful, and we enjoyed many a sunset in the evenings. The house is also very close to Padstow, and a variety of excellent beaches.

The owners are also lovely, and came and helped out immediately on the first night when we had a bit of trouble figuring out how to use the oven!

Overall, a fantastic week in an amazing house, we couldn't have asked for more!

Stayed here for a week in April '13 to celebrate my mum's 50th birthday. The farmhouse had everything a large family/ 2 families (or just a group of friends) could wish for. Spacious dining room with enormous dining table set for 10, Fully equipped stainless steel kitchen, living room and even a games room and bar!!! All 5 bedrooms (4 en suite) were large and decorated really well - very homely feel. Heating on as much as we wanted. Also takes dogs (we took our collie puppy so were out walking miles every day along the coast). No hint of a doggy smell or any sign that pets had caused any damage in there. The owners even provided a basket of clean towels for dogs and water and food bowls etc. Great location between Padstow and St Merryn but a car is a must. We had no problems and would definitely go back. To find a place this nice (and reasonably priced) for the number up people was a real find!
