We unexpectedly, but very fortunately stayed 2 nights at West House. The room was cosy & comfy, everything you needed was there at your disposal. Our host - Tammy was a perfect host and made us feel very welcome in her home, topped off with a delicious Cornish breafast. I would not hesitate to recommend - for anyone (couples, family or friends) wanting to visit Padstow and the surrounding area.

My boyfriend and I stayed here over the bank holiday weekend - can't praise it enough. Breakfast is lovely, the room has literally everything you can think of - iron and ironing board, hairdryer, fridge, sewing kit, local information... the list goes on! Tammy is wonderful and knows everything there is to know about the area. It's in a great location, only a few minutes' walk from the centre of town and there is parking too.

My girlfriend and I stayed here for two nights a few weeks ago. There are only 2 rooms so it feels very homely, ours was a large room upstairs, with ensuite. The room was bright, spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfortable.
Breakfast is served at one of two times and was very tasty, and is served in the kitchen, all freshly cooked for you. Its about a 10 minute walk down the hill to the harbour and the b+b is opposite the park and ride if you prefer that.
Nothing was too much trouble and we were made to feel very welcome.

My partner and I stopped at West House for a full week at the start of June 2013. Tammy made us feel extremely welcome, greeting us at the door and showing us to our room. The room was fantastic and included a large, comfortable bed, fridge/freezer, TV and a large en-suite bathroom. We were even provided with fold up chairs to take to the beach with us along with many books.

Breakfast was amazing and Tammy always advised us brilliantly on places to visit and where to eat. We tried many of these places and were not disappointed. If you get a chance, visit Newquay and try the Lakeside cafe next to the boating lake. The food in there was brilliant.

The house is situated a short walk away from the town of Padstow, which is down a hill. On site parking is provided, which is very useful as not much other accomodation offer parking. There is also a Tesco opposite which came in very useful for buying food and drink.

We will certainly be looking at staying at West House again and would advise it to anyone looking for a stay in lovely Padstow. You couldn't choose a better place to stay!

We stayed with Tammy in April 2013 and were very glad we did. We were recommended to the West House by other B&Bs who were full and were delighted to find a warm welcome and a tidy, well-appointed room in a self-contained annexe with en-suite, big comfy bed as well as TV, WiFi, kettle and plenty of storage. And off-street parking – not always available in the tiny streets closer into town.
Tammy showed us in and we were pleased to find the annexe meant that we could come and go at our leisure without disturbing the rest of the house. West House is just 10 minutes walk from the harbour front, so it’s ideal for wandering into town, although the hill on the way back home was definitely better enjoyed in a taxi later in the evening.
Breakfast the following morning was abundant and excellent and cooked in front of us by our accommodating hostess, complete with lots of local produce and advice about how to make the most of our short stay.
We felt thoroughly welcomed throughout our stay at West House and would be delighted to make a return visit in the future. Thank-you!!
Nik and Rae W.

Must say a huge thank you to Tammy for welcoming us into her B&B for the Easter weekend.

Perfectly located for Padstow town centre (literally a 10 minute walk into town and a big Tesco across the road for supplies!), West House is extremely comfortable, bright and sunny and spotlessly clean.

We had a three night stay at the B&B, so three brilliant breakfasts in the cosy family kitchen. With the choice of Smoked Salmon, Full English, Continental - plus a huge sideboard of fruit and cereals - we went without lunch most days because we were so full up!

Nothing was too much trouble - fussy breakfast orders, demands for extra pillows etc - were all dealt with without a waver of hesitation.

One of the loveliest 'finishing touches' for Easter was the addition of easter eggs in our bedroom fridge! How nice is that?!

Would definitely stay here again - 5* B&B :)
