“Two trips in a week!”
Reviewed 20 June 2014

We took the 2 hour trip and on the first occasion we saw numerous sea birds to include gannets, razoribills, guillemots with the highlight being 5 or 6 puffins. The views alone are worth it and it is fascinating looking at the beaches and coast paths from a different perspective.
On trip 2, No puffins this time but more seals including one tucking into probably a large Pollock. We were coming towards the end of our trip with some interesting commentary on the history of the estuary when our skipper spotted a lot of bird activity a way off. He could easily have continued back to Padstow but he deviated back out to sea where a pod of around 20 dolphins were spotted. The boat was stopped and it was a joy for all on board when the dolphins decided to swim over and interact with the craft. They spent a good 15 minutes around us. This company is an ethical marine business which shows the wildlife total respect and we would not have moved closer to them.
Make sure you have a camera at the ready, perhaps a sweatshirt as even on a hot day it is a little breezy when at speed.
This trip is well worth it ... informative commentary from staff that clearly love what they do.

“A learning adventure”
Reviewed 18 June 2014

This is the second trip..went last year but this time it was a full house. All the sea birds you could want, seals, puffins and just as we thought it wouldn't happen a pod of about 20 common Dolphins. It was magical. When spotted the boat must stop and wait...if the dolphins want to come nearer it's their choice. Very glad they did. This is an bio marine ethical business ..if they had not come to us he would not have moved closer. That's not the respect for wildlife all tour boats in the area show.

The a Rib is great fun, the wild life and views amazing. We took my friends 84 year old mother who doesn't move too well and they could not have been better helping her. Last year we took my good friend with MS who needed carful handling from her wheelchair.
This business really cares about its customers..and nature.

It's a must do...but what you see on the day is in the lap of the gods.

“Wish I could do a trip every day...”
Reviewed 17 June 2014

We took the 2-hour trip and it just flew by. Saw loads of beautiful seabirds and seals and jellyfish but the dolphins alas eluded us. Maybe next time? Great skipper and very informative commentary - I thoroughly recommend this to anyone and everyone - worth every penny for the views of the cliff faces alone. Boat can really motor from one spot to another to see different wildlife. Hoping to do it again soon in anticipation of seeing the dolphins...

“Too many dolphins!!!”
Reviewed 14 June 2014 via mobile

We took the two hour sealife safari. We were fortunate to visit on a clear bright day. There were a total of 6 of us on the boat with plenty of room. Ian the skipper took us out into the estuary giving commentary on the features of the area. The RIB gets up to quite a speed which adds to the experience! I would suggest a good jumper as even though it was sunny, it gets quite a chill. We visited a few small islands and coves which can be home to seals and puffins, but very little to be seen on this occasion. We then went further out where we were greeted by a massive pod of dolphins. It was incredible, they were all around the boat. We carried on at a slow speed and at least 6 dolphins then proceeded to follow us for a good 15 minutes, playing in front of the boat which meant we couldn't go any faster, not that we minded! They make no promises of the experience you will get on the trip but we had a truly unforgettable experience and thoroughly recommend it!

“What a Great Trip”
Reviewed 12 June 2014

Just returned from a one hour trip with Padstow Sea Safaris. It was brilliant the crew were so knowledgable saw loads of birds and several seals. If the weather is good its got to be something that just has to be done, do not miss it. Its ideal for families the children will love it.The coastline and the Camel Estuary are absolutely wonderful the scenery is breathtaking especially when seen from a boat.
