My family have been visiting Melanie and Mike at the farm for the past 4 years. We stayed in Creddis View the 1st year and have been in Badgers Way for the past few visits. We have always been at Easter and have never been disappointed. Our kids are now 10 and 7 and our youngest can't now remember an Easter when we haven't stayed here. Melanie and Mike are amazing hosts and do all they can to make your stay both comfortable and entertaining. The daily feeding of the animals is a real experience and we have been lucky enough to be there to welcome some new additions to the farm each year - whether that be a calf, some piglets or 2 super-cute black lambs this year. The indoor pool is great and often feels like your own private facility. The location is also fantastic and offers great access to many nearby attractions. As long as our eldest continues to ask us "have you booked Melanie's for next Easter yet" we will be coming back.
We’ve just returned from a few days here and it was absolutely outstanding. My 5 year old loved the farm and the owner Melanie went out of the way to make me and him feel welcome from the first moment when she produced a goose egg that had just been laid! We stayed in the Roundhouse and it was absolutely spotless with plenty of toys to keep the little one entertained and everything you need. My little one loved walking the sheep, feeding the goat, pigs and hamsters - he loved every minute and is already asking when he can go back. It was the perfect break, plenty of stuff nearby to do and see and it’s one of those holidays that we will always remember. Thanks Melanie and Michael. Fantastic.
My wife and I took our 18 month old daughter to Trevorrick Farm and stayed in Serendipity Cottage. We had a fantastic time from start the finish.
The cottage we stayed it was very clean, comfortable and modern. It was stacked with books (both for adults and children) and Melanie (the farm owner) kindly provided several boxes full of toys for our daughter to play with, which kept her entertained whilst we were in the cottage. Melanie also provided a cot and highchair which was essential for our stay.
Each morning (8.30am) Melanie takes everyone, who wants to participate, to feed the animals on the farm, this includes the chickens / ducks / guinea pigs / pigs / sheep. Our daughter loved doing this every morning and when she could hear everyone outside, she'd put on her little wellies and coat and try to get out the front door! This was a really good fun start to each morning and really sets you up for the day ahead.
Whilst every other holiday cottage on the farm was occupied, it does not feel overcrowded or noisy but, to the contrary, it feels as if you have the place to yourself and as the site is well contained away from main roads, it feels very peaceful and a very relaxing place to be.
The site also features an indoor heated swimming pool with a games room which is a great addition to use if the weather is hot and you want to cool down, or, if it is raining and you would rather an indoor activity.
The farm is located in a great location, it is well contained, surrounded by farmland and there is a really nice walk which takes you down to the estuary close by. The site is only a short drive to various beaches, Padstow and other nearby places which are generally very child friendly, and so there is always something to do and somewhere to go regardless of the weather.
The week we were there, the weather was good for 4 days and a bit drizzly for the rest, however, as there is so much to do on / offsite, the weather did not impact our stay one bit.
We thoroughly recommend Trevorrick Farm whether you are staying with children (of any age) or not.
We would definitely come back again.
We stayed at Trevorrick Farm last year and we returned again this year for our holiday and like last year it did not disappoint. We stayed in Owl Roost cottage and it was full of the amenities needed for a holiday with a toddler. There was also a great variety of toys for our little girl to play with.
The animal feed every morning is such a unique activity and after a very shaky start (even though our little girl loved it from the off last year) she eventually gained full confidence, so much so, that the day we were leaving she wanted to say goodbye to all the animals. Melanie and Mike are so welcoming and it's the little touches that make your stay special such as freshly laid eggs in your fridge upon your arrival and knowing every persons name including all the children's.
Again we couldn't fault the location, being in close proximity to some of Cornwalls beautiful tourist spots such as Padstow, Trevone Beach and great activity spots for children, such Lappa Valley Trains and Dairyland Farm.
Again we would fully recommend a stay at Trevorrick Farm.
Many thanks to Melanie and Mike for our stay.

Thank you to Mike and Melanie for another (our third) brilliant week at Trevorrick Farm- the cottage was immaculate, cosy and had everything we needed - including lots of toys for the children, bed bumpers and very good wifi. The children loved the pool we went twice most days! And Melanie's daily animal feeding is brilliant as the children love the animals and meeting the other children staying at the farm. The location is really good too as there are lots of beaches nearby as well as Padstow, Port Issac and the Camel trail. Mike and Melanie do a fantastic job giving everyone a brilliant holiday experience.
This is a perfect holiday for those who have young children who like animals. This was our third stay here and is unlikely to be our last. We stayed in the caravan again and had fantastic views with a lovely outside space to enjoy alongside the rest of the farm and it's residents. The kids enjoyed the animal feeding and there is plenty to do in the way of play equipment and toys as well as the pool. Melanie and Mike who run the farm are fantastic hosts and do a wonderful job of keeping everything clean and running well. The place itself is well suited to getting out and about to many beaches and attractions around Cornwall as well. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Cornwall to be honest now I have found this little gem! Thank you Melanie and Mike for another lovely stay!
A perfect farm based complex of holiday cottages and a hidden gem tucked away just outside the hustle and bustle of Padstow. You couldn't ask for more. The location is perfect for day trips to various beaches and other attractions.
It is a labour of love for the owners, who treat all guests as friends and invite you into their small corner of Cornwall with warmth and boundless enthusiasm.
The animal feeding is perfect for young and old alike.
The swiming pool and games room offer activities on site, along with the extensive outside play areas and animal paddocks.
This is a working small holding, so expect regular visits from the resident hens, ducks and turkey, but inside the cottages it is spotlessly clean and warm.
Our children loved it, and it is a world away from the identikit package holidays abroad.
We would recommend this to all our friends.
