“A Real Gem”
Reviewed 15 May 2017 for a stay in May 2017

Betty's Cottage is furnished and equipped to a very high standard and as spotlessly clean when we arrived. Decent furniture & furnishings, nice bedlinen & towels, matching crockery and cutlery may be what you'd expect at home but isn't necessarily always the case in holiday lets, but Betty's Cottage was a home from home. The use of the garage was a bonus as it kept my car safely off the road and not the target of seagulls. Although we were only 3 friends sharing, the cottage is amply spacious for the 6 occupants it can accommodate in its 3 bedrooms. Two bedrooms are upstairs and you should be aware that both the en suite and the family bathroom are both on the ground floor, but this isn't a problem for the able bodied.
Walking back up from the harbour at least once a day will keep you fit. Padstow itself is very pleasant with and interesting array of shops.
We can recommend Betty's Cottage and would certainly book again if visiting that part of Cornwall.

Wonderful Easter weekend at Betty's cottage, just close enough to the town for ease but no noise at all! Lovely cottage, clean and well equipped! Lovely welcome with wine, and all basics you need!
Will definitely be visiting again

“Wonderful Cottage in heart of Padstow”

Just returned from spending New Year with another couple at Betty's Cottage in the heart of Padstow.
Cannot speak highly enough of the accommodation and owners. The Cotttage had everything you could wish for and was spotlessly clean throughout.
The two bottles of wine, box of cakes and drinks welcome pack were very much appreciated.
The detached garage at the back of the property was also very useful and quite unusual as anyone who has stayed in Padstow will know.
New Year in this wonderful English town was delightful and took us back to how English towns and cities used to be years ago. The friendliness and welcome we experienced in all the local pubs, restaurants and shops was second to none.
Thank you again to the owners for a fabulous break.

“Perfect”
Reviewed 22 October 2016 for a stay in October 2016

Parking, adequately spacious, very clean, all conveniences that we needed, WiFi, walking distance to everything of interest, including the coastal path. Two rain showers (no bath).
Very comfortable & relaxed.
Milk, biscuits and wine on arrival. A few tea bags and coffee sachets. Dishwasher powder. Spar shop is very close in town. Tesco 15 minutes walk.
Will stay again.
