The beach has plenty of room with a nearby car park at £4 a day. The tide was out when we visited and it was pretty busy. There are OK toilets just before the beach and a small coffee hut, plus an Ice cream van on the day. We waited over 30 mins for some coffee, but left the queue when we realised we would probably be another 40 mins. The tide was out and the surf was only safe in the farthest corner of the beach, quite a walk if you are trying to watch your children or belongings. There are lifeguards patrolling giving regular warnings. We were told this was one of the better surfing beaches.

Went here in the late afternoon as we wanted to surf and the tide was not due in until 6.30 parked at car park for £2 only trouble was it closed at seven which is a shame as needed longer as was lovely evening . We did however move our car to a lower car park on beach which was free and as in the early evening a few spaces as become available . Beach it's self is beautiful loads of rock pools and sand very long and dogs allowed

Decided to try Constantine Bay beach out as we had never been before and its lovely, only issue we had was parking as the private car park closed at 7pm as did the only toilets.
There are no shops or amenities we could see apart from the Ice cream van and portable coffee bar which all leave around 7pm as well.
The beach has RNLI lifeguards on patrol and has great surf for boarding and the beach was very clean.
Will be coming back with a picnic hamper next time.
