A fantastic place to stay for my first visit to Cornwall - couldn't have hoped for better of a British B&B. Althea Library is in the perfect location - a short 5 minute walk in to town down the hill, close enough to the town but far enough in that it is out of the way of the throngs of visitors, plus you can actually park there which I imagine is quite unique as many places are within the one way system and parking would need to be in the public car parks - big bonus. I stayed in the Yellow Room with my mum, so we had twin beds (you had the choice in this room) and the room and bathroom had lots of lovely little touches - everything was very well considered with nice toiletries and amenities, wine glasses, a fridge, local chocolates and biscuits, etc. - the attention to detail was great. We got to choose our breakfast in advance from an extensive menu. We had such a nice breakfast the first day we had the same again the next day but there were lots of other things to try, even kippers, which is unusual these days! Great hosts - I will definitely stay here again and recommend to my friends. Thanks for a lovely stay.
