We agree with all of the enthusiastic reviews Wendy has received. Cyntwell is exceptionally well appointed, antique charm combined with a luxurious attention to detail. The food was great, the location convenient and Wendy is very welcoming. Would not hesitate to return.

Room Tip: I doubt there is a bad room in the house

Wonderful bed and breakfast in a funky heritage building just up from Padstow harbour. Crisp white linens, cozy duvets and thick towels plus a well-stocked tea/coffee station in the room adds a feeling of luxury.

There are several breakfast options and we chose the Full English. It was delicious, and Debbie the chef was quick to offer more toast, etc as well as tips for sightseeing and local attractions.

Wendy the proprietor is very friendly and welcoming. We will be back!

A very well located B&B in a quirky old cottage, just a few hundred yards from the harbour and all the top eating establishment in Padstow. Rooms are well equipped with high quality linen and fluffy towels. Beds OK but a bit on the hard side for our taste. The floors are at an interesting angle and the stairs steep and narrow. If you are a bit unsteady on your feet, you should probably avoid.Tea and coffee making kit including fresh milk. Cooked breakfast made from high quality produce and cooked to order. They also cater well at breakfast for non carnivores with local yoghurt and fresh fruit salad. Free wifi with a solid signal in our room. Parking is an expensive problem in Padstow but listen to the tips from your friendly host and you may be lucky like us, we found free on street parking for 24 hours close by.

Stayed here for 2 nights with friends, spotlessly clean and very comfy beds.Ideally situated to explore Padstow.Felt that breakfast was quite small and quality of some of the produce was not the best.

This was my second visit to this charming B&B. My first trip last year was part of a walking holiday with friends. The location was perfect for tired legs to stagger to the pubs and the shops! Luggage transfers were easily arranged, and the owner and staff were incredibly friendly and helpful...even letting us change in the breakfast room after the 'summer weather' forced us to abort our next leg of our walk due to torrential rain! This time I returned with my Husband for his 40th Birthday. Both of our marks of a good B&B were achieved...fresh milk in the room for me, and a proper decent sausage at breakfast for him. This time the sun also shone making the pretty rooms with quaint window seats perfect for relaxing and reading. The only issue with this property could be that due to it's excellent central location it has no parking. However we managed to get some free parking a short walk away, so we were very happy.

Room Tip: Choose a top floor room is you want a view and windows on each side (Marram?) choose a 1st floor roo...

We stayed here for 2 nights in early May and we took over 3 of the rooms (doubles on top floor and the twin). All the rooms were lovely - nicely decorated with TV, coffee/tea/biscuits/fresh milk, large fluffy towels, crisp white linen, super comfy beds, quaint window seats. A warm welcome and great breakfast. Pretty house just up the road from the shops, restaurants & harbour. And we had sunshine all weekend! Thanks Wendy.
