Lovely weekend in padstow but too busy !
We couldn't find anywhere to eat as all restaurants were fully booked and informed us they were for all of July and August ! May return to padstow but never in July or August
B and B. Very good though !
Very quiet location and friendly staff

This B&B has 4 rooms, with 2 being up a very steep set of narrow windy stairs. Once we had mastered the art of getting all our bags up to the higher floored room ;) we were greeted by a lovely en-suite room. The place was very clean and the bedding was ultra soft.

Wendy and her team go that extra mile and give you chilled milk in cooler flasks which is a great idea when making your own tea coffee or hot chocolate. Breakfast is held in a small room with 4 dining tables, each set for 2. You can help yourself to fruit salad, yoghurt, cereal & fruit juice and toast is offered on arrival. You fill in what you would like for the following mornings breakfast on a menu sheet and it is brought to you along with tea/coffee 10 / 15 mins after arrival.

The location of the B&B is ideal, about 3 minutes walk to the harbour front, passing a SPAR supermarket and a couple of nice restaurants worth booking ahead of time at. Try Margot's and Paul Ainsworth No6 for evening meals.

Nothing is far away here in Padstow and you have so many choices of places to call in for food and drink as you wander the streets.

There is no parking at the B&B and everything seems to revolve around a couple of main pay and display places at the harbour. Wendy did send info about some free parking in nearby streets and we were lucky enough to find a space for the duration. No need to move you car here unless you want to head away as everything is walkable.

Wifi is free and connection was pretty stable.

Great cosy B&B !!

Six of us spent a fabulous weekend in Padstow in a rather nice B&B
Cyntwell is in a great central location for forgetting about the car and exploring Padstow on foot. It's barely a 2 minute stroll to the harbour and close to all of those nice Padstow restaurants.
We were given a warm welcome by Debbie and quickly felt relaxed. The B&B is on the small side but most of the B&B's in Padstow are of the same size. Anyway it was really charming and immaculately clean. Breakfasts were brilliant with a good choice. There is no parking here but a good car park is just 2 minutes walk away The owner, Wendy was really nice & friendly and very helpful. We felt really at home in this B&B and would definitely return. Thank you

From the moment we stepped into our room to when we left, the stay was perfect. Bedroom was perfect down to the fresh milk to go with our tea/coffee to the lovely bed and bed linen. Attention to detail was obvious even down to the face wipes in the bathroom. Wendy was very friendly on arrival and was most attentive. Location was great, just up the hill from the harbour and bars/restaurants which was easy when ambling down in the evening. Altogether a lovely stay and would certainly stay there again if ever in Padstow.

Room Tip: We had room on the first floor overlooking the street. Beautiful rose tree outside the front door w...

We recommend Cyntwell to our family and friends , Need we say more ? Actually yes,the home made breakfast Jam and Marmalade has to be tasted ,it's part of the one of the nicest breakfasts we've had away from home.We love Padstow and wouldn't stay anywhere else,if Wendy's fully booked we wait until she has a free room .
Thankyou Wendy again for a lovely stay and Debbie for our scrummy breakfasts ,see you soon .

Room Tip: All rooms are lovely ,but choose the first floor if you struggle with steep stairs ,facilities were...

Stayed for the second time in two years so Wendy and the team are doing something right!

Right down to the chilled milk for my tea and the Marmite to go with my breakfast toast!

Apart from the swimming pool every thing was just right.

This holiday was the first one that my boyfriend and I had planned together and with him being in his training phase of joining the British Army all we wanted was a peaceful, relaxing getaway for a few days! Having chosen Cyntwell which is just outside the heart of Padstow it was the ideal location for such a trip! Wendy and Sophie were lovely - if there was anything that we wanted or needed they were able to accommodate it! The room we stayed in was beautiful and everything was provided for us upon arrival. This B&B is a little gem and one that I will be recommending and revisiting in years to come.
