Just returned from a stay at Blagdon Farm, with the family. We hired three lodges, all of which has stunning views of the lake and woodland area. There is something for everyone, including children and all were made to feel extremely welcome. On arrival, Karen showed us to each of our lodges, gave us information and a cream tea was waiting. All facilities can be used by disabled and abled persons. The lodges themselves are clean and spacious. The beds extremely comfortable and a good nights sleep was had by all. All types of wildlife can be seen and morning and evening walks round the lake is a must. Barn owls and bats were seen several times, not to mention small birds, rabbits, hares and obviously... Fishing. There will be a return visit in the near future. All would like to thank Karen and Ian for a lovely holiday.
Have just returned from Blagdon Farm after staying in one of their brick built lodges. The lodges were well equipped with dish washers, washing machines, central heating, wet room etc. The site also offered a swimming pool, games room, an evening bar and a fishing lake. You would need a car to get around as the farm is off the beaten track in the countryside. Bude was about 25 minutes away by car, ideal for families with young children. We hope to return for future holidays at these lodges. The owner was very friendly and helpful, We was also able to take our dog with us.
