Owner description: The South Devon Chilli Farm is set in the wonderful South Hams district of South Devon overlooking stunning views. We grow over 100 types of chilli and there is a free-to-visit display in the Summer. The site has a farm shop and cafe selling the products we produce from the chillies we grow on the farm. All the products can be tried in the shop and are served with the meals in the cafe. During the Spring and Summer, we sell a wide range of chilli plants. We also have seeds and chilli-growing equipment. We have a lot of gift ideals that are ideal to take home. Just 5 miles South of the A38.

The Chilli Farm was great to visit! It was brilliant to see all the different varieties of chilli being grown on the farm, and it was great to taste all their chilli products! The Chilli Farm's café was excellent, too.

Anyone who likes chillis will want to visit this place. We visited this place en route elsewhere and found it fascinating. There is a large selection of chilli plants and seeds to buy, as well as a good range of chilli products. Though we didn't eat, plenty of other visitors were doing so and the food looked good.

Found this by chance on our way to Burgh Island and beach for the day. Lovely little business, shop, cafe and show tunnel of so many varieties of chilli. Food menu was simple but well done and we were made really welcome. Very chilled out place for a chilli farm!

We have been to South Devon many times, but this was our first visit to the Chilli Farm. It may not sound like a spectacular location, but what it does it does well. A visitors shop with plenty of chilli chocolate and sauces, chutneys & jams to try; A show tunnel of an extensive range of chilli plants; and a well stocked chilli plant shop. Unfortunately, mid-holiday, we weren't in a position to buy any plants, but found a few nice items on the chutney shelves. We did hope to see such things as chilli shampoos etc, but maybe that's something for the future. The best part of the visit was undoubtedly the cream teas. A traditional option was more than complimented by a savoury chilli alternative with chilli jam & cream cheese. We'd probably go back again purely for the cream tea. A must for any fans of a touch of spice

A visit to the chilli farm is a must for all chilli lovers. The show tunnel is amazing and the variety of plants available to buy is excellent.

The shop has a fantastic range of items to choose from and there are samples available to try of all the sauces, jams, salsas, chocolate etc.

The cafe offers a great range of options on the menu. We tried the 5 bean chilli with nachos and pimentos de pardon which were delicious.

The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Will definitely be back to visit on our next trip to devon.
