My wife & I fancied a takeaway as it was her birthday & our 18 month old had crashed for the day. Indian was the choice and Lal Quilla was the only real option (Being on holiday this was the only indian we knew of in Lyne Regis). The food was bland it was all over priced and the portions, especially the samosas which were extremely small and uncooked (see picture). In short, a complete rip off!!

We had a fine meal here - mainly vegetarian curries but all was good and I cannot recognize the negative aspects listed by other reviewers. The staff were friendly the food was nice, the only downside was that the stairs and the toilets were distinctly grubby.

Had great 2 course meal for only £30 for 2 of us. Really tasty with great service. Tandoori chicken starter was delicious. King prawn sag was loaded with prawns and tasty with just right level of spice. The dansak was on the hot side of hot. Nan small but perfectly formed. Rice came with lemon etc and ample portion. Can't wait to return

Great food as always and you even get to take your own beer! Always seems quite busy. They have a new restaurant at the top of the town now too, will try that next time

Tried while on holiday, takeaway meal for 2.
Meat samosa was empty! Just pastry and air. Naan bread was as thin as a poppadum and both meat dishes lacked flavour. Wouldn't try it again.
