Only a few varieties of fish in rather tired conditions. A very small aquarium with tiny tanks for some of the fish. I felt like getting a net and releasing them into the sea. You can opt to pay extra (which is an insult) to hand feed the mullet. Children, however, seemed to be enjoying that aspect of the place whilst we had a visit which took all of five minutes.

This is a small aquarium, but it really entertains so don't let the size put you off. We all got to feed mullet - by which I don't mean throwing food in a tank but holding it in your hand and feeding them - our 3yo and 6yo were nervous hence mum and dad getting a go which was great, but once convinced it was safe they wanted more food! Then they got to hold a starfish, with huge smiles. The marine biologist was really knowledgable and had a wonderful manner, it felt like a private tour led by someone who really loves their job. This was one of the highlights of our visit, we all loved it.

Brilliant day out, not only were we able to feed the mullet, but also we were able to hold a starfish! We were taught a lot about all the amazing creatures they have and as a family we recommend it!!

It's a small aquarium, but very entertaining. Our three girls *absolutely loved* feeding the mullet--it's almost worth the (not insignificant) ticket price just to do this. The kids were over the moon, really, and even our 21 month old thought this was fun and hilarious. The owner and the biologist there are friendly and informative. Our girls also got to hold starfish, which they also thought was really neat. Take your kids!

Visited today and took 2 of our 4 kids in (3 and 6years old) what can we say that had an amazing time, we purchased the pots of food to hand feed the fish and I haven't heard my children laugh so hard in ages what an experience! Then after a walk round both my girls were holding live star fish and being told about them by the lovely man that works there, this by far beats any run of the mill aquarium you can visit, both the gentlemen in there where so helpful and friendly! If your down that way def pop in for a visit!
