A charming, spacious shop, which caters for everyone. Wether you are looking to buy a magnificent polished fossil for bookends or just wanting to buy a small birthstone - The Fossil shop offers it all. Just ask the friendly and informed staff about anything and they are more than happy to help.

My daughter enjoyed buying some Russian Emerald for her mum - a great holiday present and a chance to interact with the local history and geology.

Fossils are to Lyme Regis what Shakespeare is to Stratford-upon-Avon. Add a stunning coastal location and you've got a great destination - easily a good day out if you're in the area. There are quite a few fossil shops but 'The Fosil Shop' is the best - prices range from a few £s to £1,000s and its easy to see how one could get carried away purchasing. Need a meal? The Cobb Inn is great - try the Lyme Bay scallops if they are in season!
