“Nice setting”
Reviewed 27 August 2014 via mobile

After a short scenic walk along the river I was welcomed into the mill am offered a tour. I declined the tour as I wanted to take photos and there were plenty of explanatory notices. Some steps in the mill. A few other places in the mill complex to visit and refreshments available.

“Support the Town Mill”
Reviewed 26 August 2014

The Town Mill is one of Lyme's gems so please don't miss it. Make sure you visit the brewery and the excellent Mill Cafe and pick up some cheese from around the corner.

The town has just opened up the east side of the beach with a splendid promenade and it's really attractive and very walkable for those who may be a bit unstable on their feet. Much nicer, i think, than the west side which is often overcrowded.

“Great visit for kids and adults”
Reviewed 25 August 2014 via mobile

Located in a beautifully restored area in the centre of Lyme, just off Coombe St with its own quaint shops, the Town Mill is a treat for kids and adults alike (and is next to the Lyme micro-brewery Dads...I recommend the Lyme Gold!). The Mill was rescued from dereliction by local benefactors in recent years and is now a fully working mill where you can try your hand at milling some flour and then buy some to take home afterwards. The river Lym is diverted onto the full size working water wheel inside, and volunteers show how the whole milling process works. A recommended diversion from the beach- also try the Mill Bakery for breakfast or Lunch. This year entrance is just via donations to the Mill restoration charity. We love it and visit every time we're in Lyme.

“great cider”
Reviewed 23 August 2014

We visited the Mill in Lyme Regis and what a great little place, packed with history and still being useful today. Take a stroll around or take a guided tour. We visited the courtyard and had a lovely cup of coffee and later a wonderful pint of cider at the micro brewery.

“Nice place”

A very pleasant place to have a walk around, a very nice cheese shop and coffee shop, were everything is home made. A few nice but expensive shops
