This cafe is well worth discovering. The other revues on trip advisor guided us here and it was worth it. High quality home cooked food prepared by a family that care about their customers and what they serve. It might sound a bit over the top but the toasted sandwiches are the best we've ever had! Excellent coffee, hot chocolate and cakes too.

Behind the Post Office in Broad street a gem of a coffee shop. The coffee and tea is excellent and the lunch menu is healthy, appetising and perfectly made. My friend had a piece of the gluten free cake on offer and said it was wonderful, she bought another piece to take home. Dogs are allowed and it is a place that the locals frequent. A relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Well worth visiting.

If you need a REALLY GOOD cup of coffee (such a rarity) in Lyme Regis, this is the place to come. It's behind the Post Office, and is very unexpectedly one of the best places in the town for coffee. Lunches are also available but I haven't tried them, the cake is good. I am a local so I know what I'm talking about.

The oost office in the side of Lyme's climbing main street used to be just a rather cramoed - post office. Then it was opened out at the back into a long gift shop, which now leads further back to this congenial cafe, which opens into a courtyard with tables. I've got into the habit of going round there with a cup or cups (we live nearby) which they very friendlily fill with their latte, the best in town.

The cozy Penny Black is tucked behind the post office on Broad Street along with several shops. There’re half a dozen tables and additional seating outside. The coffee is superior as are the toasted sandwiches and cakes. If you have good ears, you can even catch the latest gossip. Much recommended!
