This Little place is sort of hidden at the back of the Antiques Centre but well worth a visit, the staff are very friendly, the place was clean and well sorted out, the Cream tea was great and lots of it. well done.

Return visit. Last here 2 years ago. Still v high standards. Coke floats and good quality sandwiches and salads. Friendly and efficient.

Have visited Penny Black twice in the last week. Great little place tucked away from the crowds with a sunny eating area, perfect for summertime. The peanut butter milkshakes are gorgeous and fruit scones with clotted cream and jam are pure indulgence. Service was pleasant and not too slow. Will definitely eat here again. Little note to keep in mind, they only accept cash. Worth remembering as Lyme isn't brimming with cash points!

We eat here regularly and are always delighted by both the food and the service. The soup is always stunning! A real treasure.

A real find at the rear of the Antiques Centre on Broad St. Stopped here for Afternoon Tea & we were not disappointed. We received a warm welcome & our beverages & homemade cake were absolutely lovely. Try the lemon cake, its just fab!!
