This was a last minute booking and we were pleasantly surprised with this b&b.

Great for location, car park was only just up the road and was very cheap considering we were parked there for the whole weekend.

Cleanliness -great no complaints
Room - great shower lovely comfy bed, considering we were on the main road we heard no traffic outside. Odd colour scheme but you cant have everything lol!
Service - excellent - nothing was too much trouble for Clare and her staff.
Breakfast - lovely
Only reason we gave 3/5 was the price which we thought was a little dear but it didn't deter from our stay and we would happily recommend.

Room Tip: Don't worry about facing the main road - it was very quiet and we slept soundly!

We have just returned from spending three nights at Blue Sky B&B, which we found to be comfortable and friendly. The room we had was at the back of the B&B and had a sea view which was a bonus.Breakfast was very enjoyable and set us up for the day.Clare and her staff were very helpful with advice on where to eat in the evenings, which there are many to choose from.Blue Sky B&B and Lyme Regis will be revisited by my wife and I very soon.

Room Tip: Room 5 has a sea view

This small, comfortable and friendly B&B is an ideal base for a holiday in Lyme Regis, less than four minutes' walk from the charming main street and the beach. There is a substantial breakfast, with many choices including an excellent vegetarian option. Our room, with en-suite, was spotlessly clean and well-equipped. Parking nearby was trouble-free and inexpensive.

The housekeeping at this place was very intrusive. Coming back to the room my clothes had been piled into my bag and my bag moved and closed. I found another bag hanging on the back of the door on the other side of the room. I had bought a chocolate bar and found it hours later in my tolietry bag, which had been rifled through, zipped up and moved to the floor next to the toilet. Not remotely okay to do any of this.

Other than that the place was fine, and the standard of accommodation in Lyme is quite high in general. The room was pleasant and bigger than I expected, the location was a tiny bit further up the hill than I would have liked but still quite central. But I would stay somewhere else where they won't touch my stuff.

If we had been advised of any concerns during your stay with us, we would always endeavour to act with courtesy, respect and kindness.
We pride ourselves on keeping our rooms very clean throughout a guest's stay. Were any posessions moved, it will only ever have been to enable cleaning of the floor and surfaces.
We wouldn't dream of 'rifling' through personal items. Staff may move water bottles from a radiator so that they remain cool, or put a chocolate bar left out in the sun onto a shelf perhaps, and always undertake housekeeping with courtesy, to a good standard.
This particular room is small, which is perhaps difficult for a traveller on an extended touring trip of the UK. We do however clearly state that it is a small but cosy double so that guests are aware.

Digital door code is great as we could arrive at our leisure. Parking for £1.70 a day just up the road is a real plus. The bedrooms, we had one upstairs and one downstairs were large with amazingly comfortable matresses, very clean and with en-suite facilties. The rooms were serviced to a very high standard every day. Breakfast is served in a light and bright cosy room, self service from a breakfast bar for a variety of teas, coffee, fruit, toast and yoghurts. A cooked breakfast is done to order and it is a generous serving of quality food. The staff are very knowledgeable about the local and surrounding areas and are friendly and pleasant and most helpful. We had a fantastic time at this well appointed B & B.
