We stayed here for one night before crossing to Holland. It was ideal. The rooms were spotlessly clean and if a good size. The staff were very efficient and every effort had been made to ensure that the rooms were as cool as possible on a very hot day. The bed was reasonably comfortable and the bed linen was first class. I would suggest asking for a room away from Lidl - night deliveries could be disturbing but less so when the windows are closed.

Stayed at this hotel on my way home from holland, where I had been staying in hotels for nearly 10 nights and nearly all were Hilton's, but I must say in the areas where they can make a difference they have done it.

Smooth check in, staff were helpful and the day had been hot, the curtains were closed and fan on, and offer for more, if required and where ice was available, plus they even provided the mobile of the regional manager if you had a complaint and couldn't get it resolved, nice touch!

I was surprised with this stay, the hotel is what you expect when booking a premier inn, but the staff and there commitment to a 'good nights sleep' is something they are committed to achieving.

Good job, will return.

Great location and friendly helpful staff.

Rooms superb, comfortable, well lit with great resources . Wifi is charged after half an hour ( although you can sign in multiple times with a made up e-mail address )

Breakfast was excellent and served by first class staff.

The night after I stayed here, I stayed in the Hilton and was surprised to find the Hilton was a definite step down from this !!!!!

The Premier Inn, especially the breakfast, was not as good as I had expected. The room was fine, with the usual Premier Inn decor. Internet is still not enough, you only get 30 minutes. It was a warm day and they had put a fan in the room with the curtains closed.
Receptionist was friendly.
Great for a stopover if you go on the ferry. Literally opposite the dock. Never be late again!
The breakfast service was terrible and the dishes and glasses were really dirty. I don't do this much at all but I really had to send it back to the kitchen. Maybe someone or something just had a bad day!

Room Tip: Room at the back is quieter.

Hotel offers good value for money. Rooms are clean, bed is small but okay. Hotel is located very close to the Ferry, and parking is easy and free. WiFi works good. Bar and restaurant stay open till late and meals are okay. Breakfast is standard.

Stayed at this hotel for a day prior to embarking on a cruise. Staff were very friendly and efficient and made sure our stay was enjoyable. Room and bathroom were very clean. Had both dinner and breakfast at the attached pub and found these to be to the standard expected of the Premier Inn. Only drawback is that the rom had no air conditioning, only a fan which was not really up to task. However solved this by leaving the window open. As our room overlooked the hotel's rear car park, noise was not an issue.

Used this for pre cruise stay. Very good location as you can see the ship in port from the hotel car park. The hotel is located just off a roundabout at the entrance to the port and you get to the hotel via Lidl's car park. There's also a Brewer's Fare pub attached and Harwich is 2 miles down the road. Check in was efficient, room and shower room clean. Free standing fan was moving the hot air round the room as they don't have air conditioning so leaving the window open at night wasn't really an option due to traffic.
Breakfast was typical buffet for cereal, fruit, toast and drinks with cooked food to order. As an alternative on the opposite side of the roundabout is a Morrison's store with a cafeteria; probably cheaper.
Morrison's is useful if you're returning from a cruise to be able to fill up with fuel and there's grocery shopping there or at Lidl.

Room Tip: Don't overlook the roundabout.
