“Good curries and added touches”
Reviewed 5 July 2014

My boyfriend and I dined in the Saif Tandoori last night and were impressed with the selection of food on offer and the reasonable prices. The portions are generous so you probably won't want a starter unless you're very hungry. The mixed starter was delicious as were the chicken balti and lamb passanda. The rice and naan breads were fresh and very tasty too. There were some lovely touches from the staff such as being giving a complimentary shot of liquer at the end of the meal and a red rose for the ladies.

The restaurant was a little quiet but please give it a chance as the staff are lovely and the food is of a high standard. They also offer a take away service which was going very well judging by the number of times the phone rang during our visit

“First good impression”
Reviewed 15 June 2014

Thought we would try out the new Indian in town ,
The menu looked interesting and hoping they would have our favourite fish recipe on the menu.
Started with popadoms and chutneys , starter s of onion bhajee And prawn purée which were both delicious , main meal I had paneer tikka Shashlick , the other main was Kashmiri chicken. With Lychees and lemon rice and sag aloo and Gobi Bhajee.the plates arrived extremely hot ready for the food to arrive , my tandoori cheese with onions and tomatoes were serve onto plate by the waiter the rest came in warmed plates in fact hot but no heated hot serving plates so food not served immediately did cool .
Good value meal , my cheese dish really extremely good the chicken was a bit too mild .
Lemon rice very astringent but tasty , the nan breads beautifully hot and light .
A nice evening but not blown away .
