“Wonderfully idyllic!”

Words cannot describe our thoughts as we drove up the driveway from the road - we wanted peaceful and isolated, and that's exactly what we got. The cottage is about half a mile off the road, down a country track right in the middle of fields.
It's a gorgeous property - parking spaces and court yard on the outside: and a perfect well decorated open plan interior. We also had an amazing welcome pack of butter, milk, bread, cheese, biscuits, crackers and wine!
The kitchen is a decent size, especially for 2 people, with everything you need including a washing machine. The living area is large but cosy and overlooked by the two bedrooms on the mezzanine levels. Beware the stairs are narrow and tight for kids and people less able.
The 360 views of the country side are amazing, especially with the deer and rabbits roaming morning and night. The fire is also a welcome feature on rainy days - plus the selection of DVDs!
The cottage is well located to get round the Cotswolds sights - Northleach is c5 min drive / 3 miles walk.
Overall highly welcomed - we'd stay again! And thank you to the owners who showed great hospitality.

I absolutely loved this barn and would love here if I had the opportunity. Remote location makes it ideal to unwind and recharge the batteries. This does have the downfall of no to sporadic mobile phone signal and no wifi is provided. But if you are looking to get away from it all, this is the place. Sadly the weather wasn't that good for us but sitting out on the terrace looking at the undiluted night sky made up more than enough for this. Spacious accommodation, with separate fridge and freezer so you can stock up. The over bath shower is wonderful after a long walk around the site. Your own peace of heaven. Lots of sightseeing places within a short journey available. Watching the deer on a morning and evening run across the fields at the front, hare bouncing around and buzzards flying over head. Owls hooting at night and if you arereally quiet you will see foxes.
Perfect! I will be booking again.
