This is the second time we've stayed in this lovely b&b, tho with new owners this time around. Its in a beautiful Cotswold stone house right on the pretty village square. There are only three rooms and we had the entire place to ourselves. Our room was quiet, spacious and well equipped, with a very comfy double bed and little lounge area with a tv and dvd player (you can hire dvds in the village shop) and a bathroom with 'slipper bath'. Lots of extras that you don't normally get in a b&b, like fluffy bath robes, board games, magazines, fresh milk for your tea and coffee... Fabulous breakfasts, with a choice of times and a great selection for vegetarians (particularly rare in this meat-loving part of the world). The owner couldn't have been more friendly and helpful (for example, we overslept the first day and she just kept our breakfast warm in the aga), without being overbearing.
Northleach is one of the quieter and less touristy Cotswold towns, but you can get nice meals at The Wheatsheaf and pub fayre in a couple of other places. The church is amazing and there are loads of lovely walks on your doorstep.
