I had a lovely two night stay at Waterend Farm in December. This was my second stay here to enable me to visit friends locally and the welcome was as great as the first time. The rooms are very well decorated and really clean and comfortable with no intrusive noise from the nearby motorway. There is a large choice for breakfast and is all well cooked and delicious. There is ample parking and access to motorway and the local beauty spots is very easy. Hilary is always ready to advise of local events. I shall not hesitate to stay here again should I need to be in the area.

We had a fantastic stay at Waterend Farm in September. The room was spacious and comfortable and we received a very warm welcome from Hilary. The breakfast menu offered a good choice and the food was lovely and plentiful. There was easy access from the motorway however traffic noise was not a problem.Highly recommend this farm to anyone wanting to get away from it all in the beautiful countryside.

We had a two-night weekend stay in early November. We were made very welcome despite our early (and wet) arrival. The room was very comfortable, breakfasts were excellent and Hilary was the perfect hostess. Her recommendations for places to eat were good. It's a lovely part of the world and there is so much to see and do. We went to the Stroud farmers' market on Saturday morning (well worth a visit), followed by an excellent day at Westonbirt to see the late autumn colours. We would certainly stay again if we were in the area.

Room Tip: The Blue Texel room is on the non-motorway side and we had no intrusive noise with the window open o...

Very enjoyable stay at Waterend Farm. We were very comfortable in a very nicely decorated, well furnished and spotlessly clean room. Our hosts were really welcoming and breakfast was delicious. Nice rural setting. We would not hesitate in staying again or recommending to family and friends. Thank you for making a good weekend perfect.

Easy access from the motorway with a warm welcome. Rural surroundings and lots of local interest especially "The Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust" at Slimbridge. Plenty of places to eat locally with a good breakfast served by Hilary. Unfortunately we only stayed for one night but would certainly go back if the opertunity allows.

Room Tip: .A little noise from the distant motorway but nothing much too worry about.

Just come back from 2 nights at the Farm . Hilary made us very welcome and the breakfast was very good. The place was very clean and of a high standard. I did find the single bed's a little soft for me and it was a shame that the M5 was right outside the Farm so you could not have a wildow open at night due to the traffic but the farm was there first not the motorway - Progress i think they call it. I say give us back our country side.

My husband, my mother and I have just spent 2 nights at this farm. We were very impressed with the house itself which was traditionally furnished and had large windows thereby making the large rooms light and airy. Everything was very clean, the beds were extremely comfortable and Hilary and Richard Mann were very welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was both plentiful well cooked and well presented. My mother was taken ill during our stay and Hilary, Richard and their daughter couldn't have been more understanding and helpful. I would recommend this venue to anyone wanting to enjoy this area of the cotswolds.
