All one could wish for a relaxing stay.A real home away from home. Great value and well provisioned, comfortable, quiet and a great location. We were made to feel very welcome by our hosts.
Situated in beautiful countryside in the heart of England, a friendly local pub in the village and plenty of nearby attractions within a reasonable drive. We will be back!

“A fabulous rural retreat set within the very heart of England”
Reviewed 30 April 2012 for a stay in April 2012

This is our third stay with Peter and louise and once again my wife and I are hugely impressed with the standard of accommodation and location. Every consideration has been made for the comfort of the 'Wickham house' guests and as keen cyclists the additional lockup facility is very reassuring. Peter and Louise are never far away, should you need them for what ever reason, but for us the discreet nature of their presence and the 'friends reunited' feel they generously extend to their guests all adds to the whole holiday experience. We couldn't be more delighted with the cleanliness and high standards throughout and look forward to our next visit with genuine anticipation.

“Perfect place for a relaxing holiday!”
Reviewed 7 July 2011 for a stay in June 2011

We stayed at Wickham house for three days and were quite sorry to leave. The house is in a great condition and very thoughtfully decorated. It is a very quiet place, perfect for a relaxing holiday. There are good views from the living room and the kitchen has everything (including a generous care package) for a good self-catering holiday. Our hosts were very friendly and made sure we had a good time staying there. The location is unbeatable. It is very quiet, however is just a 10 minute drive from the center of Market Harborough and Leicester is not too far away. All in all.. its a place I can highly recommend.

“Home from Home”
Reviewed 7 July 2011 for a stay in June 2011

The apartment/cottage is located in the small country village of Sutton Bassett. My initial concern was its location in relation to Corby, where I needed to spend some time with family, but I need not have worried. The beauty is its proximity, you have rolling vales and beautiful country side, and Market Harborough is a 5 minute drive, (Corby is 15 mins) We were blessed with good weather, the garden is great and privacy - very important - was perfect. The accommodation, is bright and sunny and all mod cons. ( I especially loved the possibility to cook for a family event, and was able to utilise the hob, seperate grill and oven and microwave.) A seperate cloakroom/toilet was wonderful for visiting guests and much appreciated. Peter and Louise offer a very friendly and welcoming service.
