We had a chicken Jalfrezi and Chicken Tikka Masala . The Jalfrezi was swimming in sauce and there was hardly any peppers and only one colour. Usually you find red and yellow peppers in the curry too. It had lots of fine fine green chillies which blew my socks off. The taste was ok but not great. The chef obviously doesn't know what a jalfrezi is!
The Tikka Masala, was made with tomatos, it would have been a good sauce had it been properly spiced and seasoned as it was very very bland.
For starter we had kebabs and these were a horrendous red dye colour! Shish Kebabs are meant to be meat colour/brown not some wierd red shade - yuk!
I wouldn't recommend the food here, better than Indian Zest but not better than Dhanchora's main courses. The decor may be awful there but the food is much more authentic.
