The Three Swans Hotel
Certificate of Excellence
Reviewed 3 June 2014

The Three Swans is a charming mid-sized hotel in the middle of Market Harborough. We stayed with 2 other couples for Bed and Breakfast. We'd gone to watch a local rugby match and made full use of the bar.

Room Tip: Room over looking High Street can be noisy.

Recently stayed for 2 nights while visiting Leicester. Nice room- we paid for an upgraded one, with nice bathroom. Breakfast fine though service on day 2 was a bit haphazard; though one gets most things oneself on a buffet basis. Fine stay overall. Quiet. Very good value and the bar meals were excellent we felt.

Room Tip: Pay a bit more for an upgraded one.

Lovely coaching inn situated on the high street in Market Harborough, my double room was a little small but perfectly adequate for 1 person, I took advantage of the end of bank holiday special price and booked a double room glad I didn't book the single ! The shower in the room was actually terrible the water pressure was not very good and the temperature was ok but not hot enough for me. Choice of restaurant dining or the pub menu which is why I booked this place originally, I opted for the pub which was lovely, the food was great and there is a nice selections of wines to choose from, a quiet Monday night I would expect this place can get busy over the weekend. I ordered a coffee, when it arrived was very watery the bar maid noticed and replaced it with a perfect creamy latte great service, think they should invest in coffee training for the staff, it really is worth it, I have a friend with an Italian restaurant who does this and the coffee there is amazing it's all in how you heat the milk apparently but it makes a massive difference to coffee lovers like me. Great location, I would recommend and I will stay here again.

I've stayed at the Three Swans before and for all I thought it was 'ok' I didn't rush to rebook. A late change in business plans meant an enforced booked and a very pleasing change it was too.

I was given an upgrade to room 102 which was very well equipped with Sky TV, bathrobes complimentary chocolates etc and a good level of fixtures and fittings.

I decided to eat in the bar as I had previously but was surprised to see the bar had also been completely reworked. The beer was just as good and the food delicious.

I had a good nights sleep and (after a decent breakfast) check out was easy. After this second visit I've changed my mind and definitely return to the Three Swans.

The Three Swans is located in the city center. It's a decent hotel for a good price. The staff is friendly and professional.
There is also a restaurant which offers good food but don't expect too much.
But there is a choice of good restaurant within walking distance.
The rooms are clean and the beds are good.
The hotel offers free wifi throughout the entire hotel.

The hotel is located approximately 12 minutes walking from the Train Station and just 1second from the main square in Market Harborough.
rooms have a nice size, very clean and comfortable.
there is a sensation that you have entered another small town cause the place is quite big and offers outside space.really lovely, had a great night sleep. did not have breakfast at hotel ( it was an extra at GBP 12 and decided to go to a coffee shop in town, being just 1 minute away :)
would definately recomend this hotel and will definately stay hear again when going to MH again. congrats guys all your staff was very friendly and helpful. Love it.

Room Tip: ask for a room on a higher floor cause ground floor can be noisier ( due to outside path right close...
