A comfortable room with good choice of breakfast and excellent service. The owner was out when I arrived but clear instructions left for me. As a single traveller, I felt very safe. My only problem was poor wifi signal. A bonus was an excellent pub over the road for an evening meal.

Stayed here for 1 night when in the area on business, very good value, breakfast was excellent.
I was in a single room, stayed in it before, will definitively stay there again when in the area.
Plenty of parking space, easy to find, with pub across the road to eat if needed

We chose Boston Lodge as it was on our way home. It was very easy to find and had a large car park.. The door was answered by Patrick and we were made very welcome. Our room was no 5 up a flight of stairs. The room was not as big as some we have stayed in but it was well laid out and comfortable. It had a bathroom en-suite and a shower that once you had sorted out the temperature was fine.My only complaint was the size of the TV. My laptop screen is bigger, but it as fine for one night. The bed was great and we both slept soundly. We had a latish breakfast that was excellent. We would stay again if in the area..

Room Tip: If staying more than one night go for a bigger room.

Spent a couple of nights recently at Boston Lodge. The accommodation is excellent and good value for money. Breakfast is excellent with plenty of variety. The Wheatsheaf pub at Hubberts Bridge is well worth a visit.

We travelled up to Lincolnshire with pet dog and two grandchildren. Arrived when owner Patrick was out but all arrangements in place for our stay.

Room was a large family suite with ample room, a double bedroom, a twin bedroom and a cot plus a large bathroom with shower. We were not bothered by noise. The children's room had a sweet little rocking horse for them to play on, which delighted both the five year old and six year old. Our room had a small flat screen TV complete with built in DVD player. Wish I had known before hand so I could have brought the kids DVDs to play. We also had all the tea and coffee making facilities plus an iron and ironing board and hairdryer (the latter being very helpful to dry children more thoroughly after shower).

We were left in peace to settle in. There was a large garden to walk the dog and plenty of country lanes to walk in close by. Our night was very peaceful with no traffic noise.

There was a list of various cooked options for breakfast, plus fruit and cereal. All in all, a very good value and enjoyable stay. Would be an ideal place to stay even all week. The area, however, lacks suitable facilities for hungry children requiring food at teatime. The local pubs either would not allow children (or dogs), or did not open for food between 3pm and 6pm. After 6pm was too long to wait when we had arrived and unpacked before 3.00 and the children needed their tea between 3.30 to 5.30 latest so they could be showered and settled for bedtime.

This was not the fault of the hotel but we had to drive firstly 3.5 miles in one direction and then turn around and drive 10 miles in the other direction before finding a poor little back street pub to eat in before 6.00 pm. Then it was 7.5 miles back to the hotel (a 21 mile round trip to eat)

Room Tip: all rooms are very central to the dining area and are quiet. The family suite is excellent for two...

We chose this establishment due to the close proximity for where we wanted to be, we found Pat very friendly without being intrusive, nothing was too much trouble and our accommodation was clean, tidy with the bed being very comfortable. After a very late night breakfast was a welcome event and was very enjoyable with lashings of porridge before a well cooked full English breakfast with limitless rounds of toast. We will definitely stay here again when the need arises.

On arrival we were greeted by the owner who was very warm and welcoming, we were shown to our room which was lovely and cosy, and told about how to order our breakfast. we were just across the road from a lovely pub called the barge, which was nice to just take a stroll across to.
the place was very quiet, even though near a busy road we were not disturbed at all by any traffic noise. the bed was comfortable and the shower was hot. once we got up and went for breakfast we sat down and out came the drinks. very efficient and the full English breakfast was fantastic. We will most definitely be staying here again as the owner made you feel just at home. 10/10 for everything here.
