My wife and I have visited the Wagon and Horses on several occasions with our daughter(s) and friends and had very good food in a relaxed and welcoming setting.
This was the first time we had a Sunday carvery - the food was satisfactory to good, indeed enjoyed by the three of us but, unlike other days, there was no choice apart from the three roasts and a vegetarian option. On previous occasions we have really enjoyed a greater variety of dishes and then we were able to have fish, a salad or salad side-dish. The servings were generous.
Despite the numbers here at the beginning of the Easter holidays, the service was good and staff friendly and helpful.
Overall a pleasant experience, but a shade disappointing......
