Stayed in lodge number 68, privately owned lodge. The laundry was fresh, the lodge very clean, every comfort you could want, it was beautiful. Had the 2 course meal with bottle of wine for £30. The service was good, the staff friendly and very accommodating when I turned up with hen party cupcakes etc, partook of the facilities, pool, sauna, steam room etc definately would book again, fabulous lodge but would have been made better with a hot tub

We were booked in by a friend to attend his lady's 60th Birthday party there. On first impressions it was a top class hotel. Our room was quite spacious, very clean, with the extras you'd expect i.e. tea and coffee making facilities, and a flat screen tv. The bathroom was spacious.
During the evening there was a buffet, and the food was fantastic. The breakfast was also excellent with plenty of choice. :)

Room Tip: We had room 303 which was fine, but looked out on a car park. This didn't bother us as we spent...

Last weekend was my hen party, 22 females booked into 4 lodges, spa treatments, afternoon tea, 3 course meal and breakfast.

upon arrival the receptionist didn't really know what to do with 22 females all arriving together, which ment the reception area was a little crowed. One lodge was ready and the other 3 where ready within 30 mins of us arriving.

Arrived at the spa to welcoming, friendly staff who had everyone's towels, robes and flip flops at the ready. Yes the robes are not white and fluffy but they serve a purpose and the towels are on the small side but again nothing to complain about.
I personally had the full body massage which was amazing and very relaxing, everyone of the hen party commented on there treatments being lovely, amazing, relaxing etc.
swimming pool, sauna, steam and jacuzzi all lovely and clean. Changing rooms a little dated.

All 4 lodges where lovely, slighty chilly on arrival needed the heating on for 30 mins. The lock on the front door of lodge 51 was hit n miss if it wanted to lock and had to spend 5 mins each time to lock the door.
Lovely lodges, comfy beds, clean towels... we did all notice the lack of mirrors 6 ladies in one lodge and only 2 or 3 mirrors depending on which lodge wasnt the best as most mirrors are in the bathrooms.

Afternoon tea is a must for everyone.
They sat us in our own private room which was lovely, conversation could be as loud as we wanted without upsetting other guests.
Table was set out with white table cloth, tea and coffee, jam, clotted cream and butter on table.
Sandwiches arrived on a large silver tray, plenty of variety. Large slices of carrot cake, coffee cake and Victoria sponge. Large homemade warm scones and a fruit loaf. The young lady serving us was lovely and couldn't do enough for us.

Evening meal was pre ordered. Arrived in our private room at 8pm and starters arrived at 830pm.
The tomato soup, salmon and ham hock had lovely comments the feta salad was very disappointing, few leaves and 4 small pieces of feta cheese. Bread buns where very cold and would of been nicer warmed.
Main course was lovely, beef and chicken had lovely comments. Veg could of been a little better.
We had quite a long wait for our puddings but they were worth the wait, I had sticky toffee pudding..WOW!!! Everyone enjoyed there puddings and definitely finished the meal off.

Hotel provided lifts to and from lodges to hotel which is excellent as the lodges are a mile from hotel.

Breakfast was nice, a little busy and not everything was topped up quick for people.

Overall the experience was excellent value for money, the hotel staff did brilliantly as they had my hen party, another smaller hen party a gokf tournament and a wedding plus normal guests.
Would recommend lodges to anyone for a night in with the girls.

Also Hannah who helpped me organise my hen party was lovely, always responded to my calls and emails and knew everything I asked.
Thank you kenwick park for allowing 22 females celebrate my hen party.

Just arrived home from a one night leisure break - me and my daughter thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Check in was fine - the room spacious and clean - large comfy beds and a nice bathroom. A few more sachets of tea and coffee wouldn't go amiss. Afternoon tea was lovely. Later we had some great treatments and went for a swim, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna which we found really good. The meal at night was delicious and the service was as good as could be. The drinks in the bar were reasonable for hotel prices. The breakfast was excellent. So all in all it was a great experience.

I came for a weekend break with a bunch of lady golfers.
We had a fantastic time. The golf course was fabulous. Well worth playing again sometime.
Food was excellent and plenty of it. Although
Breakfast was very poor. Food ran out very quickly and a long wait for it to be replenished.
I am a coeliac and had to wait ages for gluten free toast (I thought they had forgotten!!) I was very disappointed as I had informed hotel of my dietary request before I arrived. There was nothing I could eat as it either had gluten in or had been eaten by other guests! Breakfast resulted in cold g/f toast, no butter or jam (they ran out) cold tea and didn't get hot tea even tho we asked.
The hotel was very clean. The staff were lovely? The pool and leisure facilities were very good. Golf course great. Quiet setting. Over all a great place to stay. I would definitely come again

Room Tip: Some rooms are a long way from reception. A very long walk. Up two flights of stairs. No porters ser...
