“Hidden, but what a great place”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 June 2013

This is such an amazing place to visit, very much enjoyed by the adults as the children. Set in the most beautiful location with plenty to see & do to keep you on the go for a whole day.

“A great family day out”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 June 2013

My wife found out about this place after doing an online search for family days out. The Forbidden Corner came up on a list of very highly regarded days out. I have to agree totally. The place is great for both adults and young children. It's probably not best suited to younger children or those in buggies due to the amount of steps and narrow passages. Older children will love the myriad of passages and tunnels. It's easy to get lost in the the maze of passageways. Oh, it also has a small maze to navigate too. The place is deceptively large and you spend a lot of time walking down various pathways. I don't want to spoil things but you might get wet.

Thoroughly recommended.

“superb day out today”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 June 2013

Eight of us went here today on a lovely sunny day..... What a great fun filler afternoon we had. Lots to do and see and the tunnels and water features are really something else. Considering this was originally built by a chap for his grand children, it is an absolute gem. It cost a family of four £38 which is quite a price but considering everything it is well, well worth it. Kids in bed now, worn out and dreaming of water spouts and ghostly things.... Top banana.

“what a hidden gem”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 7 June 2013

Took the grandaughters aged 3 and 1 to the forbidden corner today,a first time for all of us, but it won't be our last. One thing i will say is it isn't puschair friendly but the staff did warn us about that at the entrance. It's hard to describe exactly what it is but i'll try, it is a huge adventure just trying to navigate through the mazes, under ground tunnels, twisting passage ways, revolving floors and water traps. You must investigate every little path and corner as there are so many hidden goodies. Some of it can be a little bit scary for younger children but as ours seem to have nerves of steel we all had a brilliant day. Will definitely be going back
