“Perfect Place”
Reviewed 12 December 2014 for a stay in December 2014

This was our second stay at this delightful cottage and yet again we didn't want to leave. Everything about Dunsley is perfect. The cottage is immaculate and has everything you require. The addition of the TV in the kitchen area is a nice touch. Judy the owner couldn't be more helpful. We will be returning!!!

“Cosy Cottage”
Reviewed 10 December 2014 for a stay in November 2014

This was a great find and although we never met Judy and Duncan they made us feel more than welcome and provided excellent detailed information before, during and after our visit. I cannot speak more highly of our weekend, even the weather was pleasant. The restaurants and pubs all welcomed us and we had the most enjoyable weekend for a long time. Dunsley Cottage is very tasteful, has got everything you need, in a peaceful location and was like home-from-home as soon as we walked through the door.

“Perfect cottage in a perfect place”

I cannot rate Dunsley highly enough! It is the most beautifully appointed and decorated cottage I've stayed in. There is absolutely everything you need and it has obviously been decorated with love and care. It has all the little touches that make it a 'home from home' right down to hot water bottles and tea, coffee, milk and biscuits on arrival. The house was spotlessly clean and lots of 'extras' were provided - plenty of towels, tea towels and toilet roll!
After only one day in Staithes we realised what an absolute boon having the newly constructed 'parking platform' was. It is impossible to park in the village and having private parking was wonderful - it was very easy to park in the 'quick' spaces down in the village and unload our cases, and then park our car (exclusively!) on the platform above. We felt a bit smug parking up while others circled the large car park...
Judy is fabulously organised - something which I really appreciated being a seasoned 'cottage' stayer. The information and communication was quick, thorough and informative - nothing was too much trouble to make sure our stay was everything we wanted. And it was. I urge you to book Dunsley - you won't regret it for a moment - it's a little piece of heaven!

My friends and I stayed at Dunsley in May of this year. The Cottage couldn't have been nicer. It was very clean, easy to find, we had our own parking spot, well equipped and charming in each and every way. Judy, was so easy to work with and made sure we were settled and happy. The town of Staithes was right on the North Sea and we walked along the Cleveland Trail into the next town looking at the sea and enjoying the fresh air. We went to the neighbors, one morning, and gathered eggs for our breakfast! One night we sat outside, drank wine, ate cheese and crackers and listened to opera! It was just perfect. I would stay here again and again. I hope you someday get to stay here too.

“A delightful retreat!”
Reviewed 21 August 2014 for a stay in August 2014

We recently stayed at Dunsley for our mini-moon. After planning and enjoying a wonderful wedding, we wanted a relaxing break. Dunsley did not disappoint! The house has everything you could want and we loved the cosy snug on the 3rd floor. We particularly found pleasure in the well chosen artwork, much if it coming from New Zealand, coincidently where we have spent some time. The location is good for exploring the Coast and North Yorkshire Moors. Judy has everything well thought out and is very helpful. We hope to come back one day.
