We were met by David the owner who was very easy going and helpful. Rooms very clean, good beds and bathroom good. Fresh milk in a flask great idea much better than little plastic pots, 4 tea bags is a bit mean, as was the orange juice already poured on the breakfast table, coffee very good. Would of liked a bit more choice than just full English which was very good - why no cereal or scrambled eggs and smoked salmon?

Dinner was average - no bread to nibble on - coffee was not offered.

Trying very hard wish David and his team well.

Just had a two night stay here and really could not fault anything. The room was on the top floor with a fabulous view across the harbour, spotlessly clean and spacious with a very comfy bed. It is rare to have really quiet at night but you do here. We dined both nights in the restaurant , the food and service are excellent. David is really helpful and personable and nothing is too much trouble. Really relaxing and lots of beautiful countryside and coastline around. Lovely !

Room Tip: The top floor room probably has the best view although if you are a six footer you may struggle for...

Just back from a two night stay at this haven from the modern world. A village which is almost traffic free (the old village at the bottom of the hill) as no parking spaces, all parking at the top of the steep hill (be aware you will need to carry your bags up and down the hill, but worth it). The room was decorated and furnished with stylish simplicity, extremely comfortable, spotlessly clean, warm with tea/coffee making facilities. We heard nothing from the other occupied rooms. The breakfasts (full English) set us up for the day with delicious locally sourced products. David was friendly and welcoming. We didn't get to try out the restaurant as not open on the two nights we stayed.

At the heart of Staithes, the Endeavour is a real gem. Can not fault Dave and his team for making our stay trouble free and welcoming. Ideal place to stay for families or couples. We will stay here again.

The top floor is great but ..........be ready for a climb. Crampons NOT issued on arrival but the friendly reception was otherwise impeccably helpful.

Very central for pubs etc. much anticipated Restaurant unfortunately closed on Mondays.

We had a lovely night in this gem of a place, clean, well appointed and tastefully decorated room. everything you could need on hand, nice clean bathroom, everything nice and new lovely fluffy towels and good quality bedding and furnishings. Dave cooked us an amazing breakfast, good quality local produce. I would recommend a get away from it all at the endeavour, lots of lovely fresh air and walks down to the sea front. well done Dave, you have got it spot on and thanks for our lovely stay.

Room Tip: all lovely

What a lovely place to stay, and we will be booking again. The rooms are very clean and tastefully decorated. One of the best things about staying here was dave the owner who was very friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. Had dinner on the first night which was also excellent.
Breakfast was excellent too although my full English minus mushrooms turned into poached egg on the final day lol
. Dave thank you very much and looking forward to coming back soon
