While the location and the room was very good. The breakfast left a lot to be desired.
It was from 7.30 - 9.00 - My daughter and myself came down on the first morning at
8.30am - although the menu specified croisants - there were a limited amount and so
none left at that time. We do not eat full English, but my daughter asked for scrambled egg on toast. It looked like it had been modelled out of plasticine. My daughter said it tasted rubbery and was luke warm. She had one mouthful. Obviously it had been left standing and then heated up. The tables were such that one had to share - this would not have been a problem except they were not tidied away ready for the next guest. And so one was required to sit with breadcrumbs, used serviettes, dirty plates, etc.etc. This was eventually cleared away to a point after some time. The bowl of fruit looked days old. If there was a pot of tea or coffee left over from a previous guest then it was deemed ok for the next guest. So consequently was not hot. It was £78 for the room on the internet - would have dearer had I not booked on line.
