We went here for dinner and while they were amazingly busy they did make room for us and we had some great seafood dishes - and were a bit surprised that they had a surcharge for credit card payments

Last night of our holiday we decided on having a meal here intsead of badachrow pub that was the first mistake. We come to gairloch quite often and really fancied a great meal we decided and booked here there was a specials menu on the table and stated crayfish and muscles for £13.95 which seemed a great buy we ordered starters and mains 2 starters did not come with the rest and we had to ask for them we were offered a complimentary drink which was nice and we continued our meal mains then came and low and behold no muscles we asked where the muscles were and was told it was muscles or crayfish and the crayfish was actually £16.95 not £13.95 advertised my mother in law had already paid not realising as there was drinks on the bill as well they drew a line on the menu between the muscles and the crayfish and wrote on £16.95 in front of her it took me to go back up and complain to the manager that it was there mistake on the menu and we wanted the extra money back she was charged!!! expensive and small portions

We stopped here for lunch with a group of friends on an annual car trip. This was our second try at this establishment and whilst the staff and service were far superior the food and value for money isn't there yet.
Tiny portion for the goats cheese and beetroot light bite and I would avoid the Ploughman's. Not sure if we will go for "third times a charm"???

This is our third time staying at the Old In and we will certainly be back. The rooms are well furnished with comfortable beds and kept very clean. The quality of food produced by the French chef is excellent and although, over a week, we ate at other places, we kept coming back to the Old Inn.
Some may find difficulty with the English language abilities of some waiting staff, but a little patience works wonders.

The staff are very welcoming and friendly. The meal was slightly expensive, but worth every penny. We had a wonderful evening chatting to the staff and other customers. We went back just for drinks twice more during our weeks stay.
