“Breathtaking”
Reviewed 22 October 2013

Superb views can be had from the many vantage points surround the loch from both afar and by the loch side itself. The stormy weather we experienced whilst in the area made some of the views all the more magical

Beautiful view, lovely place for a picnic! Plenty of places to park, we went in May, and no mossies!

“Ideal for a break”
Reviewed 8 October 2013

If you enjoy walking and the quiet life..dont miss this. You can relax by the shores of the loch. visit the Ben Eighe Nature Reserve..or simply go on the many walks in the area. Kinlochewe is a good centre for walking and of course there are the Torridon Hills if you are looking for a challenge! I was based in Gairloch which is a good centre if you want to tour the area. But beware ..if you are looking for a busy nightlife..you might have difficulty!

“A beautiful highland loch.”
Reviewed 15 September 2013

Various places to park and picnic along the Western side of the loch, but recommend Slattadale, which has parking bays, picnic tables (when no midges!) and toilets, plus access to lovely walks.
