“Fantastic cottage in idyllic setting”

This was our first trip to Scotland and Beul na Mara was the perfect place to stay in the beautiful village of Gairloch. Set right on the edge of the Loch, every window looks out on a beautiful view. Modern, spotlessly clean, very comfortable with everything you need. Also ideal base to explore with shops and bistros within walking distance. Gairloch harbour is only a 20 minute walk or 5 minute drive. Rob and Emma on hand if you need them. Felt very well looked after. Definitely hope to be back!

“The most perfect cottage on the beach”

Amazing location with the sea on the doorstep. Very clean, comfortable and with everything you could want. Really loved the log burners and amazing views over the sea to the mountains of Torridon and the Isle of Skye. The village is very pleasant and has all you could require with the stunning beach of Big Sand a few miles up the road. We ventured to the Isle of Harris and Cape Wrath during are stay thus is a excellent base for an adventure.

Beautiful property, beautiful views! Really breath taking, we stayed here with our two boys 10 & 11 and we all loved it. There was everything we needed and all was of an extremely high standard. It was wonderful waking up to such lovely views over the loch. We were very sad to leave and hope to be back again very soon!!

“Relaxing, comfortable, cosy.”

This is a lovely cottage right on the loch with beautiful views, it is very comfortable with a good double bed and plenty of sofas to snuggle down in when the weather isn't good. It was very windy at times but the cottage stayed very cosy. A good butchers just round the corner and also sells fish and veg, general store over the road (a bigger one and post office a bit further up the way) coffee shop close by. Visit the Giarloch Heritage Museum, it's a fascinating place. Also recommend the Badachro Inn, a short drive away.
All in all a lovely week in Beul na Mara which has all you need.

“Picture Perfect”
Reviewed 2 May 2016 for a stay in April 2016

This cottage is a real home from home! It is thoughtfully equipped and decorated. The kitchen had everything one could need (as a foodie that was important to me). The linen, duvets and towels were all great quality and very comfortable. The lounge was cosy but not small and it was a real bonus having the second lounge/dining area. The views and location are stunning and yet really convenient. I would absolutely recommend this cottage!

“Gairloch Getaway”

Beul na Mara is beautifully located on the edge of the water, looking over to the Torridon hills. It is comfortable, spacious and well-equipped, with a selection of books, DVDs and board games if the weather keeps you indoors. Within a few minutes walk there is a butcher's shop, cafe, bistro, bookshop and general store. Within easy reach are further shops and pubs/restaurants. And of course beautiful scenery, even when the weather is less than clement.
