Beautiful views over Corvedale, lambs on two sides make this an idyllic spot. Washrooms are very clean and warm. Lots of extras like blocks that you may need or have not got. Great hard standings. Picnic table in the middle. Owners are very friendly too. We will be back.

We are regular visitors to this site and it never fails to put a smile on our faces, regardless of the weather rain or shine. The views from every pitch cannot fail to make you relax and just chill out.. there are many walks directly from the site, there is a pub within walking distance but it is down a well used road..Taxi service available just speak to Mervyn the owner of this fabulous site, all pitches are hard standing with its own water and electric and with a secure gated entrance. It is small and immaculately presented, offering well manicured hard standing pitches for up to 9 vans. The shower/toilet facilities are spotless and well heated. Mervyn is one of the nicest site owners you will meet and will help you in any way he can with a big smile on his face and he really does care about his visitor's. Its impossible to say anything negative about the hidden gem... maybe I shouldn't have said anything as it may get too full next time we want to visit .....

A nice site. Arranged in a circle of 9 pitches, every pitch gives good views. Pitches are hard standing and each has a water tap and an electric plug. Some are longer and enable you to park in front of your van, other you need to park either on the circle track, or if there's an empty pitch (like next to us) we parked out cars on there instead.
The entrance gate is locked with a combination lock, allowing access 24hrs.
The owner, Mervyn, is very friendly and came over to chat to us as we were sat outside having a brew.
The site has a waste point, bins and washing up sink.
The only possible downside I could have was there are only 1 male and female rooms in the ablutions. This didn't affect us on our visit as there was only 3 vans on site at the time, but may cause problems when full. Each room contains a shower, sink and toilet. The showers only work on the old £1 coins or 20p's and you get 1 min/20p. The showers are powerful and the water is hot straight away, no waiting around for it to warm up and waste your money.
Taxi to Church Stretton cost us £8 for a night out.
I'd highly recommend this nice little site to anyone. There's no traffic sounds, only countryside sounds (like sheep etc) and it's so nice to sit out at any time of day and look at the scenery with a brew.

My partner and I enjoyed our first stay on this site over a fabulously sunny and warm long weekend (three nights) at the beginning of May 2017. I have been a member of both national clubs for over 25 years and rarely has a site exceeded my expectations like this one did. It is small and immaculately presented, offering well manicured hard standing pitches for up to 9 vans and a small number of tents. Each spacious hard standing has its own water and electricity supply, and the shower/toilet facilities are spotless and well heated.

The location offers spectacular views and is a restful oasis for those not wanting to do much other than chill out by their caravan or tent. However, less than 10 minutes away in a car is the Long Mynd which offers fantastic well signposted walking opportunities for the more active. A little further by car allows easy access to the 'must see' towns of Ludlow and Much Wenlock with an abundance of restaurants, shops and character filled pubs.

The site owner, Mervyn, is one of the nicest people you will ever meet and genuinely cares about looking after his 'customers'. We were warmly welcomed and even had to chase Mervyn to pay him ... how often does that ever happen!! In short, we can't recommend this caravan and camping site highly enough ... a hidden gem in a most beautiful location. By the way, when you do go you must try the 15th Century Royal Oak pub in Cardington which is 2 miles away and is in the current Good Beer Guide for a reason!

My wife and I stayed for 10 days at Easter. It was brilliant. We never realised that Shropshire was so beautiful with stunning scenery and great walking. The site is clean, well maintained and Merv the owner was very helpful and a pleasant chap too! Lovely quiet site, away from it all, but still near enough to get a good pint!!
