“Lovely, relaxing place.”
Reviewed 5 August 2017 for a stay in June 2017

I booked this apartment for my son and his partner. They spent 3 peaceful nights here with lovely views of the hills. The local town is nearby so you're never far from amenities and at the same time feel like you're away from it all. Very nice apartment for a very nice price,

Thank you Don for making their 3 nights here a memorable one.

Clare.

“Excellent accommodation in a stunning setting.”
Reviewed 9 May 2017 for a stay in May 2017

The accommodation is in the beautiful Carding Mill valley. It was very clean, well equipped and very comfortable, with lots of books on flora, fauna and birds.
Don greeted us on our arrival and made us very welcome. We enjoyed walking on the Long Mynd. Best walk was up the Light Spout to the Long Mynd walk to the highest point before walking down through Ashes Hollow, stopping of in Church Stretton for a snack in Ginger & Green before walking back to Willowbatch.
Well worth paying a visit to the bird hide round the corner from accommodation.
Went to Ludlow on the bus which stops at the end of the valley road. Great tapas bar in Ludlow called Parkway Tasha Bar just passed The Feathers Hotel.

We never used the car during our 6 day stay which was a bonus. We are looking forward to our next visit to Willowbatch.

“A fastastic few days away in an amazing surrounding. Comfortable house”
Reviewed 1 March 2017 for a stay in August 2016

We stayed in mid August for 4 days and we loved this place. The house is lovely and comfortable. The bed is huge and comfortable, so is the sofa. Maybe the tv could do with being a bit bigger but we can't fault anything in here. The kitchen can be used for snack or to cook a nice meal. Don was a very nice accommodating host and we hope to come back here soon. From the house you go on all walks towards the end of the car park and do the long Mynd (fantastic) or the smaller walks to the reservoir or the little waterfall. When the sun is out this area is magical and looks as good as the Alps!
