Shows the development of photography and fixing of the image and tries to show that Talbot won the race to a photograph that could be fixed on paper by a short head against the Frenchman. Numerous exhibits of interest

Great to learn more about the art of photography . Also the history of pictures. Perhaps without him we may not had a movie ?

Very enjoyable exhibit with some lovely fable fantasy pictures in the upstairs exhibition. The white tiger is a great picture.

An interesting collection of photographic artefacts and cameras along with a brief history of the main developments of photography (no pun intended!). Worth a visit as part of the Abbey tour.
