A wonderful two night break away.
Lacock is truly beautiful and I would recommend David and Simone's pottery home to anyone looking for a magical and beautiful place to stay. We were greeted with a very warm welcome. David's pride in his charming home is clear to see, and we enjoyed being shown around.
We had the feeling that nothing was to much trouble and the governors room was wonderfully presented and felt very homely, as did the rest if the house.
Breakfast was delicious and fresh, and served in a beautiful setting surrounded with amazing art and we were entertained by David's stories and local knowledge.
To sum up our stay, we both would rate the pottery 10/10 in every respect. We feel blessed to have found a relaxing and charming place to go when We feel the need to get away for a weekend.
I'm already looking through my diary to book again.
Thank you both for all the passion and love that you put into your establishment, it was a pleasure and very memorable experience.

Last spring we stayed in Lacock Pottery Bed & Breakfast. Simone and David offered us a splendid combination of hospitality and personality in their charming house. We certainly will come back to visit this bed and breakfast and that's probably the best we can say.

A friend and I visited Simone and David's charming B & B in September 2013. We had the double bedroom with twin beds and had a comfortable stay with access to our own bathroom just across the hall. The breakfast was delicious and more than ample before resuming our walk in the Cotswolds. An added benefit is the lovely pottery that is available by both hosts as well as other potters. David is a character and left enough of an impression that I find myself writing this review three months later. The village is quaint, quiet and has all that one needs, including a great restaurant which David will no doubt suggest.

We had the loveliest time staying at Simone & David's B&B. We booked the Governor's room which has been mentioned by many reviewers below as very lovely and cosy. We had 3 windows! One looks out to the church's courtyard, one to the little front garden and one to to a nice house where they filmed Harry Potter. It was magical! The breakfast was special with an array of home-made jam and bread. We had very nice chats over breakfast with other visitors and they all loved the B&B. One couple had gone there every year for the past 15 years! David, the owner, even gave us a lift back to Chippenham where we had to take our train. We'll definitely stay again.

This Bed & Breakfast is situated in the middle of lovely Lacock but at the end of a street on a secluded courtyard, so has the best of both worlds in terms of location and quiet. The accommodation is impeccable and so is the hospitality. We stayed in the Governor's House which we can recommend because it is in a separate wing of the house and offers the best privacy. Breakfast was sumptuous and served in the magnificent living/dining room of the main house. We wished we could have stayed longer. Next time!

Thank you Simone and David for a wonderful stay!

Lacock Pottery B&B does not need another good review, but I will give it one anyway. I really would like to say what a wonderful time we had there. Looking at the pictures, we were slightly worried that the room might be cold at night, given the drop in temperature, but the radiators were on, and the room was toasty (and so was the bathroom, which was surprising as it was on an outside wall!)

It really is a beautiful place to stay, the room was impeccable and the breakfast fantastic, but the hosts really made the stay memorable. David invited us to a bonfire in field at the back of the house, and by the end of breakfast the following morning, it felt like we had been old friends for years. Such a warm experience all round. Thoroughly recommended.

Room Tip: We stayed in the Govenor's house. Well worth it, as it feels like having your own private cottag...

The first thing to say is that the photos don't lie and the B and B is just as you would hope it to be(particularly important in my case as this was a birthday treat). I was glad to have followed Simone's recommendation and booked the Governor's room which has its own entrance. We had agreed to arrive at 4pm but were early which didn't appear to be a problem. The room is delightful witha view of the church and plenty of parking. We slept like logs- all night heating was offered but we didn't need it. Breakfast is full of personal touches and chatter about the interesting artefacts around the place. Absolutely gorgeous and great hosts. We would like to come back with friends and family. Thank you Simone and David

Room Tip: If you like a sense of privacy go for. TheGovernor's House.
