On a dismal rainy day, a very warm welcome indeed awaited us in this very comfortable, wonderfully located hotel. We stayed in one of their cosy cabins and when the clouds cleared in the evening, the Glencoe scenery was revealed in all its awesome glory. Recommend the walk down to the river - lots of wildlife and a great precursor to supper.
Great portions and a superb wild venison stew, the best we have ever had - and the chef was generous enough to share his recipe too.
Great staff and very knowledgeable staff, the barman recommended some great Scottish beers. Recommend this atmospheric hotel, we'll be back.
