Wonderful private house – with an extremely well kept and well loved garden going down to a picturesque stream. Good atmosphere, friendly and well travelled owners who clearly love what they are doing.
Sea Trout, followed by Squab and then desert. Good no choice menu (when we booked we were asked if we didn’t like anything) and having been asked what kind of wine we would like we were given an excellent white burgundy to start followed by a gamey red burgundy. There was no list and the wines were perfectly matched, not only to the food, but to the style of wine we requested. Wonderful, cheerful, knowledgeable chatty but non-intrusive service.
Amazing breakfast – a range of different fresh fruits, home made breads and great sausage and bacon.
The stay was wonderful - we couldn't have asked for more.
