Stayed here for 3 nights for a family wedding. The house itself is beautiful as are all the rooms. Added bonus' are off street parking and a lovely private garden perfect for a summers evening. Robin is a perfect host who will accommodate any request. Breakfast is perfect. The family room is the largest I have ever seen, it is more like a suite.

We came to Kelso for a wedding and our family and friends took over the whole hotel for the weekend and were made most welcome by Robin and his lovely family. Nothing was too much for him. Thanks for adding to our enjoyable weekend.

We stayed at the Old Priory for 2 nights during our trip through Scotland and England. We ended up here during the Royal Wedding and like the whole country a merry atmosphere was evident as soon as we were met by Robin. An upgrade to the family room was a bonus - we could have a dressing room along side an enormous bedroom that was comfortable and spotlessly clean. As with other reviewers Robin's suggestions for eating were spot on, I would highly recommend the Cobbles Inn and Oscars as were his sightseeing tips - Dryburgh Abbey is not to be missed. Again breakfast was a treat with Robin dishing up a tasty spread. All in all a welcoming place to stay for any traveller.

We had never visited Kelso before so the owner emailed us a list of places to eat before our stay and when we arrived went over the options with us. First class service as without his help we wouldn't have pre-booked a table for dinner at 'Cobblers' which was a great place to eat and understandably we only just managed to get an early table on a Saturday night. The room was very welcoming and comfortable (tower room). The best thing about the stay was definetly the breakfast. I OD'd on fresh melon/strawberries/blackberries and only just had room for a beautiful full cooked breakfast. I think there is every flavour of tea known to mankind in the breakfast room - you won't be disappointed.

From booking throughout our stay to check-out, Robin was a magnificent host. I have stayed in many of the worlds leading hotels and resorts and the service at the Old Priory is up there with the best, you will not find a more welcoming host, who i have to say, makes the most amazing breakfasts and endless gallons of tea and coffee to suit your needs.

The B&B has private off-street parking, a charming garden, spacious rooms and one of the best showers I have ever experienced in all my travels. Rooms have all facilities and I found little treasures such as sweets, tea making facilities, bottled water, 60+ TV channels and more.

When you come to Kelso, there is only one decision to be made......How long am i going to stay at the Old Priory rather than where am i going to stay.
