Bright, Good clean rooms in the farm that has stunning views over Loch Ken. Mandy & Mick were fabulous hosts and the breakfast was delicious & filling. Stay helped by fabulous weather but I think the stay would be equally enjoyable if not quite so sunny.
Thank you!

Spent seven nights at Airds farm B&B while working in the area.
If you are looking for a comfortable clean room with a countryside view from your bedroom window, quiet, relaxed and safe, good food, very friendly and helpful hosts and all at a very reasonable cost, then this is the place.

ps. Try Mandy's smoked kippers with poached eggs (from her own hens and ducks) for breakfast, absolutely wonderful...............

My husband and I stayed at Airds Farm for a weekend whilst on a beekeeping course near by and loved it! Our room was clean, cosy and had a beautiful view. The ducks, chickens and ponies give a sweet touch to the farm and the whole atmosphere feels relaxing and serene. Mandy is simply lovely and an excellent chef. Lots to eat for breakfast and definitely recommend having dinner (delicious). The whole experience was a County Living dream! Can't wait to go back.

Thank you for the lovely review. It was such a pleasure having you to stay and sorry we were fully booked this weekend but hopefully we will see you in the autumn! The kite chicks seem to have fledged but unfortunately i missed them.

I hope you are enjoying your summer holiday.

What views looking out to Crossmichel village and surrounding hillside. Ponies, chickens, birds at the feeders, all delightful to watch. Mandy was a great hostess, making myself and sister feel right at home. Unfortunately, my sister & I were just passing through on our tour of Scotland, we both would have love to stay longer. Hospitality A +, breakfast fabulous! sunny conservatory sit in and watch the world go by. Mandy and Mick were both great. Would go back in a minute.

Room Tip: No kids, so cannot rate, fitness would be walking. Twin room on main floor small but fine for a sho...

Family of four plus small dog had two rooms B and B in main house recently. Rooms were very nice, clean and comfortable with lovely views of surrounding countryside. This is a lovely spot to stay, and we would have opted for dinner in had we known it was available...I think we booked before Mandy started offering this. Breakfast was good and plentiful and set us up nicely for our onward travels. We haven't stayed elsewhere nearby, but we would recommend Airds Farm on all aspects...especially location, friendliness and quality of accomodation.

Room Tip: Both of ours in main house were good

I had two wonderfully relaxing nights in my little 'hideaway' single bedroom in the attic. Mandy made my stay as comfortable as it could possibly be. My room had every comfort and the view from the conservatory and lovely breakfast room was breath-taking. Airds Farm is just a skip and a jump from Castle Douglas, set in an elevated position with views over Loch Ken and the rolling hills beyond. I hope to visit again.
