we arrived a little over noon' to be greeted by very cheerful staff who explained all the site amenities, and kindly showed us to our pitch.
Once settled we took our dog for a stroll around the area reserved for dog walking and what an area a 15 ft mown edge around a large field with access to the loch which was fantastic as our dog just loves the water, and this saved us from annoying the fishermen who were along the shore further up, it was great to see the kids/adult kids :") playing on the rope swing dropping into the loch, (something you rarely see these days, there are waterborne craft to hire, along with outdoor table- tennis, chess , five aside pitch , sandpit, etc .
the toilet /shower block was pristine, and all bins were emptied on a regular basis by the wardens,
this site is a treasure, and all credit to the staff for maintaing a fantastic campsite, I hope to return on our september break.

We pitched a tent for a couple of nights and although it poured most of the weekend, when it was dry, it was wonderful. The fishing was great and the pitch was super. The facilities are excellent and the atmosphere was super, with all the kids running about playing together.
There are boating facilities and water sports, although we didn't use them there was a lot of activity.
We'll definitely be back soon!

We have been back here for the last 4 years & it is just fab.

Beautiful setting with spectacular views over the loch, facilities are all clean & modern with everything we needed. The staff are really friendly and the whole atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. Great for water sports (Loch Ken Ski school just down the road is brilliant for wakeboarding). Dogs and kids all really welcome. We will be back again.

We have just come back from a short stay at this holiday park and we have to say its a beautiful place to stay. We stayed in one of the hired static caravans which had an amazing view across the park to the loch. The caravan was a brand new model and was immaculate throughout which was priority considering we had our toddler with us, unlike caravans on larger holiday parks which we have been to in the past. The site was great for our little one with play area and sand pit. She even went paddling in the loch as the weather was so nice. we much rather prefer this site to larger parks as we wanted a quieter holiday and been able to explore the tourist attractions, towns and beaches in the area. the staff were friendly and helpful and we were so happy that we
were able to book a caravan here at such short notice too. we would recommend if anyone likes to visit quiet beaches to visit either brighouse bay or Sandyhills. We did go to rockcliffe beach which is more rocky and shelly but also quiet too. would definitely return to this site again.

Just back from Loch Ken, went for a few days in our tourer and ended up staying for the week, although the site was quite busy, it never felt crowded, it has a lovely relaxing atmosphere and the staff are lovely, the shower facilities are great and spotless, as is the park. My husband even tried a bit of fishing while I sat at the side of the loch reading, bliss! Would defiantly go back.

This is the nicest caravan site I have ever visited. The park is absolutely spotless including the outdoor wc. The staff are friendly and the views
are beautiful. We stayed in a holiday home which looked onto the loch where my husband spent hours fishing. My 5 year old loved the Sandy bit next to the loch and we even went paddling. There are boats to hire and a wee shop with books to borrow dvds to rent and even fishing bits and bobs. We were a family of 5 with kids ages 5 12 and 15. Can't wait to return :)

We've just come back from a short stay at Loch Ken holiday park and it was really very good.
The staff are friendly and helpfull, the pitches are very neat, well built and clean. The whole park is immaculately tidy and compact. The toilet and shower blacks were spotlessly clean and very well equipt with each cubical having a shower, toilet and sink and the shower is separate so your cloths didn't get wet.
There's a good park for the children, loads of water taps and you can hire boats ,pedalos and mountain bikes.
If the shop sold crunchy bread and croissants they .would have queues of people there down to the loch, every morning. Buy a bake off oven for the shop and look into Deli France products!
