Forest Way B&B and Bunkhouse

Stopped in late August for a one night. Ian the owner was friendly and relaxed with suggestions for walks. Coped well with my friends request for a sample of his water. B&B rooms lovely. Good place to base yourself for walking around Ullapool. Plus no noise from the harbour at night - an ''attraction" you get if staying in Ullapool near the front.

Staying here was a lovely experience: great location, very helpful proprietor, and comfortable accommodations. We stayed at 8 B&B's during our Scottish trip all around the country, and this was the best among a very good set. We would love to have an opportunity to be back here.

Recently spent three nights here and full of praise.

The accommodation was just what we were looking for:

Good size room; very clean; great location for the great outdoors and a very friendly and knowledgable owner.

Had a peak in the bunkhouse whilst staying at the b and b - bunkhouse was best I have seen.

You are not in the heart of Ullapool if that's what you are looking for, but only 10min away by car. Perfect

If you are looking to enjoy the mountains, Ian (the owner) has great local knowledge.

I will be back without question

Only stayed the one night here passing through to the North coast of Scotland. Iain was friendly and welcoming. Next morning he cooked an amazing breakfast and we enjoyed a fantastic chat with him.
I would recomend this guesthouse to anyone staying in the area. If you enjoy a stroll before breakfast definitely take a walk through the arboretum across the road.

We stayed in the B&B in the ensuite 3 bed room. It was very nice, comfortable bathroom and good breakfast.

If you are looking for a clean and comfortable place to sleep over then don't hesitate to book this bunkhouse. There are two separate bedrooms each with four beds (bunks) and en suite bathroom with shower and toilet. The centre of the bunkhouse has a kitchen area with fridge, microwave, cooker and the usual supply of pots, pans, cups and plates etc. There is a large dining table and a comfie sofa to relax on. Plenty of sockets to recharge phones etc. Car parking space outside the bunkhouse and a pleasant place to sit outside and enjoy a cold drink in the warm summer sunshine ;)

Iain the owner of the bunkhouse and B&B is very friendly and helpful and knows a lot about the surrounding hills if you need advice on routes.

Stayed in the Forest Way bunkhouse over the weekend with some friends to do some of the local Munros.

Iain (owner) was extemely friendly and helpful when we arrived, the bunkhouse is modern, clean, warm and comfortable. I had a excellent sleep on both nights, the kitchen/dining area is perfect. Plenty storage for your food etc. The ensuite bathroom (shared by 4), is large and plenty hooks, for clothes and towels etc.

Located around 10 miles outside Ullapool, this is the ideal base for walking.

Will visit again.

Cheers
Robin
